Fantastic place with fantastic food! Especially recommend their baklavas, sumac onions and exceptionally creamy hummus and tahini. And their hibiscus tea! It is so nice how you can build your own meal and get just what you like. They often email you really good promotions with discounts and my wife and I have never had a bad experience! It is always a treat to get the food delivered on a special occasion.Thank you for the great food, Sajj!

When we're craving something healthy and fresh, we always turn to SAJJ. Our last order was spot on and prepared perfectly. They do not skimp on portion sizes and toppings, which we all appreciate since take out could be pricey. But SAJJ is well worth the splurge. Kudos to the San Bruno staff, our bowls and pita were delicious!

Surprised that I haven't found this place sooner. We loved the concept of build your own Mediterranean food. Got the bowl and wrap and they loaded it up with steak, rice, cauliflower, greens and delicious garlic sauce. We also got the pita chips with chocolate sauce for dessert. It also comes with a side of lentil soup. We also ordered the mint lemonade and strawberry lemonade and it was very refreshing. Would try it again.

I can't find anything bad to say about SAJJ. The staff are wonderful. The food is great and then some. The shawarma wrap is my favorite. Be sure to get the free lentil soup that comes with many items. Curious though, it tastes a lot like split pea.

I was lucky enough to win a gift card to SAJJ years ago when we lived in San Francisco. I loved it then and still do. I haven't been in years since there aren't any locations near us. However, we were looking to get lunch with my mother-in-law before dropping her off at SFO and spotted that there was a SAJJ nearby. Ooo! It was a good excuse to return! We had a great meal here. One of the first things I spotted was that if you download the app, you get $5 off on your first visit. Score! So, I downloaded the app and it was quick and easy. I didn't need to order in the app either which was great. I love the build-it counter style, so I chose a bowl with the steak/lamb shawafel (includes bonus falafel!). I chose a 50/50 blend of rice and salad, and pretty much all of the toppings and sauces! I loved the cauliflower topping in my bowl. Plus, I came away with a big hunk of a bowl, which left me lunch for the following day! I also ordered the Tamarind drink which was good, but too sweet. I wish it was more sour/tangy like I had at Shawarmaji in Oakland. Oh well... I checked in on Yelp and I saw there was a free check-in offer! Wow! I rarely see those these days, so that was pretty exciting! The check-in offer was for free pita chips and dip. I chose the hummus because our son loves hummus. The pita chips were really good; they were obviously so much better than ones you get in a bag at a super market. The entrees also come with a free side of soup! It was super nice to have that as a starter on a chilly day. It was really yummy too. I love soup. All 4 of us really enjoyed our meals here. My mother-in-law really liked her pomegranate chicken bowl. I was excited to leave with leftovers as well which made a great lunch the following day. The staff were kind as well. Overall, SAJJ was as great as I remember...maybe better? The free soup, plus the $5 off on the app, and the Yelp check-in really hit it out of the park for me. I just wish there was a location closer to us, but this location, we'll certainly keep in mind again when we need to go to SFO!

Ordered a rice bowl with steak shawarma and another rice bowl with pomegranate chicken shawarma. Added some side dishes on top of the same plate. Rice and meat was warm, but I would have a little hotter. Flavor was ok, not exceptional but the company says the produce are local, which will help the local

Oct 20233.5 I'd say. Pretty good for chipotle style mediterranean. A choose your own adventure meal, you can see the ingredients behind the glass. The line moved as quick or slow as the decisiveness of the persons ahead of you. Water is fetch your own, with a couple of different sauces you can grab also. I had gotten a falafel wrap with garlic sauce and hummus, along with a mix of different veggies. I also got a lentil soup to try things out. I'd say I wanted more from the garlic sauce but everything was packaged well. I liked the chutney and spicy sauce to hedge things up. The falafel was a tad dry but gelled with the two sauces. The lentil soup was nice addition for a small 1.50 charge. It was a bit flat needing seasoning imo. Something for crunch would've worked as well to cover both parts.Easy and quick food which worked for our schedule considering different dietary restrictions.

I give them five stars just for their machine not prompting for a tip at check out (so sick of that at non full service restaurants). Generous portions of fresh food with soup included. Friendly young Latino man behind the counter.
