I used to go to Peet's on Laurel St. all the time, but they have competition! Groovy Goose is a new coffee spot in San Carlos, and their lattes are wonderful! Really good. The staff is young and friendly too. They could use a few more tables, but I'm happy to go and pick up a latte any day. They could also expand their pastry selection, but - don't tell Peet's - as for coffee, probably the best in San Carlos! I recommend.

This coffee spot opened a few months ago, and might be easy to miss since it's just around the corner from the main downtown strip. I wanted to love this place since the decor with the goose is so cute. They sell caps, adult and children tees with the goose logo on it. The cashier was very friendly. My husband liked his pourover, and they had a few options I'm picky about my cappuccino and did find it a bit bitter and not as nutty/smooth as some other coffee spots I prefer. They have a number of pastries- the banana bread we got was dry. Overall, given this would be my new go to if I'm walking around downtown San Carlos

This shop is very welcoming! The service is great! The jam toast, super tasty. The coffee was disappointing. Maybe I came too close to closing. The syrup they used tasted artificial/old. I will try again and order something different.

OMG!!! Why haven't I been here sooner?! I live close by. I ordered a non-fat latte but the owner Sierra asked if 2% was okay? Plain crossaint heated. Yum!!!! Will definitely return.

THE BEST SAUSAGE EGG AND CHEESE BISCUIT SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! Also really enjoyed the rose latte and the lavender matcha! It's such a groovy vibe and they are quick! I don't have a picture of the sandwich because I inhaled it.

Came here in the morning around 9 and there was no line to order. Service was quick and so was getting the drinks. There's a small section for seating inside and out but definitely not somewhere where you can camp and study/work. The vanilla latte was delicious, not too sweet and you can taste all the notes in the beans used. The sticky fingers is a sourdough toast topped with peanut butter, honey, chia seeds and banana slices. All in all, if I'm in need of a good cup of coffee I'd definitely swing by again.

First time here and was greeted with friendly smiles. The place was quite lovely and airy. I ordered the vanilla rose latte with almond milk delicious and very smooth tasting. I also had the sour dough toast with blueberry jam. Very tasty. I'll be sure to come back.

The food and coffee was good. The service was okay there was two employees I interacted with and one was kind but the other just seemed a bit closed off. There isn't much seating, two small tables that can seat maybe 2 people each, so you can only really just buy your food and then leave. Didn't feel super lively but then again it's a Tuesday at 12pm so
