This coffee spot opened a few months ago, and might be easy to miss since it's just around the corner from the main downtown strip. I wanted to love this place since the decor with the goose is so cute. They sell caps, adult and children tees with the goose logo on it. The cashier was very friendly. This shop is very welcoming! The service is great! The jam toast, super tasty. The coffee was disappointing. Maybe I came too close to closing. The syrup they used tasted artificial/old. I will try again and order something different.

I used to go to Peet's on Laurel St. all the time, but they have competition! Groovy Goose is a new coffee spot in San Carlos, and their lattes are wonderful! Really good. The staff is young and friendly too. They could use a few more tables, but I'm happy to go and pick up a latte any day. They could also expand their pastry selection, but - don't tell Peet's - as for coffee, probably the best in San Carlos! I recommend.
