Cappuccino today at 10 am was Starbucks bad. I come here for Pete's creamy froth. Not Starbucks stretched overheated airy foam. Not the first time. One more attempt and I'm out.

To the barista on 8.1 at 11amMy order for oat milk was "accidentally" replaced or ignored which resulted in diarrhea for me and 3 days of gut issues. When someone orders a non dairy alternative, please don't think you can substitute.Thank you for your attention to this detail.

I'm surprised that this place seems to not take pride in their store. It's located in such a beautiful & busy shopping plaza in San Clemente but the store itself seems to have fallen on bad times. We love Peet's Coffee & we basically go everyday here in CdM, but this San Clemente location has dirty bathrooms & just have a somber ambiance. The management need to be re-trained or something.

As always the staff at this Peet's is friendly and helpful. Today my 4 year old son was being somewhat grumpy and difficult and he didn't like the choice of milk in the small cartons. The milk was chocolate and he didn't like the picture of the cow on the carton either. The girl helping me noticing the situation politely offered regular milk in a plain cup and the problem was solved. Thanks for helping a dad out with a somewhat sticky situation. On top of that the coffee was great as always. Thanks again Peet's coffee.

On the pretext playing world of music you are subjected to annoying repetitious "Spanish" music which bear is a very strong resemblance do what I can only call elevator music by a Mexican band. It is repetitious mind of me and can hardly be ignored. We do not need to be reminded of what world music is you're in the middle of Orange County play the local music
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I've worked in the service industry for years, and I would never turn a customer away if they walked in right as we are closing. I drove out of my way in desperate need of a cup of coffee, pulled into my parking spot at 4:58 and stepped into the shop at 4:59. As I entered, the manager looked me in the eyes and said sorry ma'am we're closed. Super disappointed and exhausted, I went back to my car. In frustration I actually went back into the store to let the manager know how disappointed I was and I heard him ask the barista behind the counter if they still had espresso to offer to another customer. He did not make that offer when I walked in at 4:59. Again, I really just wanted a quick cup of coffee and I went out of my way to get it I can't believe that they are ready to lock the doors and shoe people away at 4:59. Find a different coffee shop don't bother with this one.

Peets is underrated. They have the best drinks (try the coconut black tie or iced havana capp) YUMMY! So many locations are closing down so keep your negative reviews to yourself so we can keep Peets open!!!

my mother was just assaulted in this peets. she was then told to basically order her coffee and leave because the baristas didnt want to hear here out. the man who assaulted has white hair is about 6'4 or taller is a broad build and was absurdly rude to me and my mother, he was standing fairly fair from the line and refused to scoot up. then when he got to the register to order he backed up purposely into my mum i then put my hand out and he continued to back up into my hand which he wouldve hit my mother if i had not. he then punched her and proceeded to verbal assault both me and my mother. we will never be going here ever again the customer service was absolutely horrendous. the fact that we were basically told to just order our coffee and get out was ridiculous.

I like everything they make at Peets, everyone is nice and friendly. The only negative thing is that they took the straws away and I have to ask for one every time I order a drink. If your going to take straws away you should have the special lids like Starbucks or ask the customer if they want a straw when you hand them their drink. I get that it might be state law, at least get biodegradable straws for the lids. There is nothing worse than driving with coffee and popping the lid off to drink and getting coffee all over your work clothes.
