“We celebrated my daughters 20th birthday. The service was amazing. Karcher our waiter was amazing, he was so attentive, explained the menu to us and had some amazing suggestions as well. Everything we ordered from appetizers to the desserts were amazing. Karcher was so thoughtful that upon us mentioning it was my daughters birthday he went above and beyond and brought her dessert with a birthday candle. Thank you so much.. She enjoyed it very much and we all did as well. From the Avina Family thank you South of Nick's - San Clemente for the amazing time. We will definitely return. 4/14/2024 Menu: Taquitos Caseros were tasty, Filet & Grilled Romaine was amazing, chicken flautas were yummy. Chipotle Dusted Sea Bass was my husbands favorite. El Vaquero was also a favorite. the drinks were yummy from the Strawberry lemonade, cokes, to the corona and the red wine to my favorite the cucumber margarita. :) The setting and the atmosphere was amazing.“
“Went for brunch date with my mom. Our server was fantastic , food was amazing, I had the baby back ribs, my mom had the streak, for appetizer we had asparagus fries and delved eggs with bacon. Definitely going back. Again our server was the sweetest lady!“
“FIG continues to be one of the best restaurants in Orange County. High quality, interesting food choices. Carnivores and diabetics can be very happy with a wide-ranging menu offering many options. An extremely good Caesar Salad that an only be improved with the addition of anchovies (didn't get the memo?) Fish options are uniformly good. One recommendation would be to order each stage of the meal separately (i.e., finish the salad before you order the main course, etc.) You will enjoy it more, and it avoids the sometimes problem of main dishes arriving cold.“
“You order at the counter and the staff will bring your food to you. Fast service, along with delicious and savory flavors. The ahi tuna was well seasoned. There are plenty of hot sauces to pick from. It got pretty busy on a Friday night. Overall - with the fast service, well seasoned food, and variety of options for both seafood and hot sauces, I'd come back and recommend seasurf to others!“
“The food was very good and healthy. I had the two piece chicken (actually cooked on a flame grill) lunch with 4 tortillas, lettuce/salad, beans, and a smooth guac (which I really liked). Tomatillo salsa was very good. Nothing was loaded with salt which is a big deal to me. We’ll be coming back.“
“Late Post March 2024Situated on San Clemente Pier, Fisherman’s Restaurant provides not only a beautiful view but also serves classic seafood dishes. Despite being a group of 12 without outdoor seating, we still enjoyed fantastic views from inside. Unfortunately, I did not have a seat facing the ocean, and the only drawback was the presence of quite a few flies in the restaurant... which probably wouldn't have been an issue if we had sat outside. Our server, Kylie, was excellent in taking our orders and promptly serving our meals.Fish and Chips – Crispy and well-seasoned!Fried Calamari – Not my fav, possibly pre-ordered frozenClam chowder and fresh sourdough bread – Delish, didn’t come out hot but immediately fixed it. The bread was bangin’ fresh, hot, nice crust, soft inside – highly recommend.Shrimp cocktail – portion smaller than expected but the typical - nothing fancyyyy“
“The food here is pretty good and priced relatively compared to the other nicer restaurants around San Clemente. The chilaquiles were really good and the avocado toast was great as well. The drinks were well made and decently priced. Our only concern/negative feedback would be the staffing. The people are great, kind and wonderful to be around. There were just a few moments where we had to wait a bit longer than necessary due to the bartender(the only one serving) was overwhelmed with the guests. To be fair, there were a couple of larger tables, but an additional server would have made this a 5 star experience. We will definitely be back!Parking: Riviera Restaurant is located inside the San Clemente Inn. Both the Inn and Restaurant share a large parking lot.“
“My wife and I come back to visit a few times a year and this is a must stop. Our favorite guy is always working hard behind the counter. We LOVE the spicy mango margaritas and the ceviche. The fact that they have a dressing bar with cilantro vinaigrette, pico de gallo, jalapeños, salsas, etc. CANT GO WRONG!!“

“Was in the area for work and gave this place a try. Nice small dining area. Ten different types of fish to choose from. The large bowls here are 5 scoops of fish compared to the 3 or 4 scoops at other locations, however the fish scoops here are on the smaller side. Very simple and not many topping options. Would like to see more toppings. The fish tasted fresh and althought it was simple it was delicious. Was there around 1pm and it was non stop with customers coming in the door so it seems like a popular place. The price was very fair and was slightly cheaper than most other Poke locations. I enjoyed the food and would give it more visits when in the area.“
“Love it. I've been to a different location before and when I'm in the area I seek out Nalu's. It is a great casual spot for some good, fresh food. We got a Mahi plate, a panko ahí plate, and a kids chicken plate. The fish were both delicious and my kid devoured the chicken. I also love the mac salad. Will definitely be back to this or other locations. We went on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. Service was very fast.“
“I love Inka Mama's and the phenomenal food, plus the quaint location really makes this a great place to go. The food is extremely flavorful and delicious, and the ambiance is great. Intimate, nicely styled with a missionary design. And the staff are extremely polite and helpful. A tip- ask for their soup options. They are off the menu and really really good. (I love aguadito de pollo and the bean soup.)“

“This place is AMAZING! Everything on the menu was gluten free, farm fresh, and imaginative. Definitely try a grasshopper when you're there! (and I don't mean the drink.) The staff was super friendly and unpretentious: I felt like I was back in the Midwest. Will definitely be returning for special occasions (because I can't resist dropping all that coin).“
“I love eating here when in San Clemente. Food is great and service is normally good. This time though (12/26/23) my fish and chips looks a bit lacking (See picture) compared to previous visits and pictures others posted on Yelp, and the young lady at the counter wasn’t friendly that day. I hope it’s not going to be a trend ‘cause I love eating here ?“
“First time coming here. Was excellent. Came for dinner with friends and sat on the patio under the heater looking over the beach - stunning. And they had live music (was a Saturday). Service was excellent (thanks Ashley!) we had oysters and clam chowder tater tots to start, followed by crispy shrimp tacos, and then the seasonal bread pudding. All of it was incredible. If you’re doing dry Jan, recommend the hot toddy minus the bourbon, especially if sitting outside - divine. Will be back.“
“I rarely write reviews, but my experience here was so phenomenal that I feel it is necessary. Two friends and I went for a leisurely family style dinner and everything we ordered, from the drinks to the appetizers to the entrees, exceeded our expectations. Beyond that, everything came out impossibly fast, our server was stellar, and they gave us a complimentary dessert. I can't wait to go back.“
