“I rarely write reviews, but my experience here was so phenomenal that I feel it is necessary. Two friends and I went for a leisurely family style dinner and everything we ordered, from the drinks to the appetizers to the entrees, exceeded our expectations. Beyond that, everything came out impossibly fast, our server was stellar, and they gave us a complimentary dessert. I can't wait to go back.”

“We stopped by Chaupain for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised with the menu selection. We ordered the quiche and croque madame. On of my typical gripes about quiche is it's never consistently baked. Either too dry or soggy. The quiche at Chaupain was anything but that. Nice and firm, but not overly cooked, the quiche was amazing! It paired beautifully with the tomato soup. So much flavor and we enjoyed every bite!”

“I went to this location the other day after my work and i had no idea which one to get and i was already tired lol. But the worker Bruna was so kind and was very willing to give me different recommendations on the bowls and explained what each one was.The service was also really fast.The best Açaí in town. “My wife's top 5 place. Love their food. She had the mini taco combo...epic!!! I had the ribeye with cheese enchilada. Ribeye needed a tad more seasoning but was great overrall. And that enchilada with the green sauce was amazing. We will be back soon!”

“Talk about a hidden gem. I'm glad it's far from me because otherwise I'd be there constantly. Best ice cream shop in south county and I love the simplicity of the menu. We got a cup, a float, and a frozen banana for our family; all were delicious. The cup is enough for two kids to share.”

“FIG continues to be one of the best restaurants in Orange County. High quality, interesting food choices. Carnivores and diabetics can be very happy with a wide-ranging menu offering many options. An extremely good Caesar Salad that an only be improved with the addition of anchovies (didn't get the memo?) Fish options are uniformly good. One recommendation would be to order each stage of the meal separately (i.e., finish the salad before you order the main course, etc.) You will enjoy it more, and it avoids the sometimes problem of main dishes arriving cold.”

Consist great food on every visit and the crew and owner behind the counter are ALWAYS the most polite, friendly and professionalI always take-away here so I can't comment on the eat in sitch ... “We visited this cute little brewery on a Saturday afternoon. We had a delicious hazy from a different brewery. We also ordered a breakfast burrito that was so good, we both agreed set the bar on what a breakfast burrito should be like! We left buying some of their IPAs to go, which didn't last long! In all, a great spot especially if you are heading down between LA and San Diego and need a place to stop and have an enjoyable beer.”

“I didn't know i could LOVE indian food until i visited Kiaan's. Oh my good gravy..... So tasty!!! I do not do spicy AT ALL so appealing to my taste buds can be challenging. Amrit couldn't have been more accommodating and assured me i would be happy. He was right. The chicken curry was my favorite. It was so creamy and smooth and delicious. The naan was perhaps the best i have had...loaded with butter and garlic flavors. The service could not be more excellent; the perfect mix of friendly and prompt and so comfortable. I know the restaurant is owner/ family operated and the attention to detail and care shows. Fine dining complete with white tablecloths and napkins. So very elegant and yet pricing was so reasonable!!I know they are now open 7 days a week and i cannot wait to come back with my husband! Such a wonderful addition to Talega in San Clemente. THE BEST!”

“Wonderful late afternoon family meal, memorable salmon sald, porkbelly bites, chicken fajitas, sugar cane filet and chicken tenders for the kids. Definitely pricey, but the quality of food and excellent service were well worth memories of that afternoon.”

“You order at the counter and the staff will bring your food to you. Fast service, along with delicious and savory flavors. The ahi tuna was well seasoned. There are plenty of hot sauces to pick from. It got pretty busy on a Friday night. Overall - with the fast service, well seasoned food, and variety of options for both seafood and hot sauces, I'd come back and recommend seasurf to others!”

“This was our first time in San Clemente and at this restaurant, and we enjoyed it.The service was outstanding. Happy we decided to stop in while walking down the street.My San Clemente margarita was strong and delicious.The food was good. We had the Thai wings and coconut shrimp appetizers.We also had the salmon bowl and the Hamilton burger.The salmon bowl was a beautiful presentation. My only "thing" was that the salmon was cooked a bit too hard for me, and therefore was a teeny bit dry. I ate some of it.The burger was cooked perfectly and the garlic truffle fries were delicious.We'd definitely stop in again should our travels take us to San Clemente again.”

“I came to SC for a family visit and they offered we go to Jadore. We were a few adults, 2 kids and a baby.As a vegan and gluten intolerant person it felt like there weren’t many options on the menu as everything has bread, cheese or meat on it.I ordered the coconut and squash soup and it tasted like Gerber baby puree. The person there which I think it one of the owners quickly replaced it with the açaí bowl which was ok and also gave us a free muffin. I really did feel like he was trying his best.Also I wouldn’t recommend this for families with younger kids as there wasn’t anything for the kids that was nutritious apart from crepes with chocolate which weren’t what I wanted my 8 and 2 year old to eat for lunch.Overall everyone said the food was ok but not great. Portion sizes were small and it was expensive.The great part was the garden in the back and the French music in the background. It could’ve been a bad day so I’m giving this 3 stars.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly unless you want to have pastries and sweet crepes with Nutella”

“Antoine's is a classic old school diner. They have a good upbeat menu. The food is always fresh and portions are plenty. The atmosphere has a chill local vibe. It does get crowded so if you're going to eat breakfast try to get there as early as possible. They open at 6:30 am or 7 am. Weekends are jampacked. Summer time gets a bit hectic. The prices are a bit high but the food is great ?Parking: There's a very small parking lot that's shared with Goody's Bar. There's street parking, but that's depending on the volume of people.”

“Best açaí bowl I’ve ever had. I got Rivi and it was sweet and delicious. Blueberry, pineapple, strawberry, mango, coconut, almond butter, and granola with honey. Perfection!”

“Late Post March 2024Situated on San Clemente Pier, Fisherman’s Restaurant provides not only a beautiful view but also serves classic seafood dishes. Despite being a group of 12 without outdoor seating, we still enjoyed fantastic views from inside. Unfortunately, I did not have a seat facing the ocean, and the only drawback was the presence of quite a few flies in the restaurant... which probably wouldn't have been an issue if we had sat outside. Our server, Kylie, was excellent in taking our orders and promptly serving our meals.Fish and Chips – Crispy and well-seasoned!Fried Calamari – Not my fav, possibly pre-ordered frozenClam chowder and fresh sourdough bread – Delish, didn’t come out hot but immediately fixed it. The bread was bangin’ fresh, hot, nice crust, soft inside – highly recommend.Shrimp cocktail – portion smaller than expected but the typical - nothing fancyyyy”

“Great coffee, great people. So many different drink and coffee options that I greatly love and appreciate as a coffee connoisseur. I love to meet up with friends here and try new drinks. Owners are always hands on and super friendly. Every experience has been great.”

“The food here is pretty good and priced relatively compared to the other nicer restaurants around San Clemente. The chilaquiles were really good and the avocado toast was great as well. The drinks were well made and decently priced. Our only concern/negative feedback would be the staffing. The people are great, kind and wonderful to be around. There were just a few moments where we had to wait a bit longer than necessary due to the bartender(the only one serving) was overwhelmed with the guests. To be fair, there were a couple of larger tables, but an additional server would have made this a 5 star experience. We will definitely be back!Parking: Riviera Restaurant is located inside the San Clemente Inn. Both the Inn and Restaurant share a large parking lot.”

“Great wine selection, staff was good, food options were good, but the food itself was just ok. We got the pork wings, flavor was good but the meat wasn’t cooked great. The rest of our food options were just ok as well.”

“Great place to grab a couple of drinks before dinner or do both here. Food portion sizes are smaller but packed with flavor. We had the steak frites and scallops and drinks. Espresso martini with tequila is surprisingly good!”

“Super impressed by this place. We will definitely go to Barnoa Wine Company again. We were here on a Friday for Happy Hour. The wine was delicious and the charcuterie board very good. We sat outside and they did a great job making it feel secluded. Live music is always a plus for us. They say it’s a “hidden gem”, and we agree.”

“The server was great! Need more vegan options for dinners. Also, it was my birthday, and I told the server I was vegan. He brought desserts to the table that were not vegan. Thank you for the desserts though! Service was great. Wine was good. The noise level was very high.”

“My first time visiting this lovely cellar. It was a perfect day for a perfect alfresco lunch. We ordered the Spanish Charcuterie to start with, and although it appeared to be small, it was exactly enough for two to share. Every item was a standout on its own, and the mix was devine! I also ordered the chicken & waffles, and my friend ordered the beet salad. It was all delicious. Our server was the best, very attentive, but not overbearing.I give this place a 5 across the board, because we left feeling so pampered. I highly recommend stopping here, and, I certainly plan to return.”

“Saw this on our way down to walk along the beach. Decided to stop in on the way back and were not disappointed. Hubby & I shared a ground beef & mushroom pizza and Peroni. Just off Del Mar, atmosphere was nice, service was friendly, the beer was ice cold, and the pizza was delicious. My husband said it was the best he's had in a few years. “Been here on two occasions. 15 years ago after returning from a Mexican Riviera Cruise and last night after watching an AEW Pay Per View in LA. Both times were awesome!Eight off the freeway with ample parking and excellent service. Food is made to order and priced just right.I enjoyed my late night breakfast which consisted of their new stuffed strawberry pancakes! Also had eggs, sausage and bacon. Came hi get, left full without filing for bankruptcy.Lema was my server and was on point. Super friendly and attentive! If ever you're near the area, drop by and enjoy a yummy meal.Be back soon!”

“The best service I have ever had at a fast food restaurant (to include other in-N-Out restaurants). I had somebody open the door for me when I walked in and greeted me very warmly. I had two cashier contacts and the guy who gave me my food. All were super warm and courteous. The team and management need to be commended. This is how restaurants should run. And if you’re wondering, I do not know anybody who works at this restaurant nor do I work for In-N-Out. I just appreciate being treated right.”

“I’ve given 4 stars because while the pizza was good our requests for a custom pizza were messed up and the amount of bacon on the pizzas was overwhelming. It ruined the taste and we had to scrape a lot of it off. The atmosphere is really really cool and they have lots of games for kids but their attention to the food is lacking.Vegetarian options: They have a wide variety of vegetarian options but be careful if you are splitting a pizza with a meat eater because they are very bad at keeping the meat to one side. I had bacon crumbles all over my side of the pizza.Parking: There is a small lot for the restaurant and street parking.Kid-friendliness: There is so much to do for a kid here. Lots of arcade games which seemed to be a hit with the kids dining.”

“Best sandwich shop in the San Clemente area. Also great deli with wide selection of hard-to-find items in any normal store. If you like to cook Italian style foods then this is a great place to stock up.The staff are some of the best people around. Totally friendly and engaging, they accommodate large orders when you give them a courtesy heads-up to prepare. They made me about 30 custom sandwiches for a work meeting and it was the first work meal that got zero complaints! Just make sure to give them a decent notice before-hand and they will take care of everything.Parking: Decent sized parking lot in the back and street parking all around.”

“Fantastic! My review is a little delayed but during our visit, the brewery had a food truck and a small boutique market in the back part of the parking lot. The food truck had amazing food and the retail stalls were awesome. I tried one of the sour beers, it was good but I am not much of a beer drinker. The husband and friends really enjoyed their beers though. The place was clean and the ladies manning the bar were nice, funny, and professional.”

“Awesome use of the space with the upstairs loft and video games. During our visit, there was a slight smell of maple and it was wonderful. The selection of beer was impressive. The only thing I would have preferred would have been an option for wine, as I am not much of a beer or soda drinker. Being able to see all the silos was interesting. “Our family of 4 are here today at 4pm. We were starving and Hawaiian sounded good. We had a great experience. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We got a huge mixed plate of food to share. “Stopped here for dine-in breakfast, they were a bit slow---I'm assuming short-staffed. Not mad, happens. We didn't even complain and they gifted us 4 cookies for waiting. This is why we like eating at Chick-fil-A.Thank you, it was very much appreciated. ?”

“Before my burger and fries arrived, I received my chocolate malt which was sooo scrumptious! When my food came out, I first dug into the fries and told my friend, "So these fries are some of the best fries I've had, good start." The burger may have been the best burger I've ever had. I ordered a bacon-bleu burger and the Bleu cheese is definitely worth noting. It wasn't just crumbles, or dressing, but a kind of spread that was so incredibly flavorful! It was so overwhelming, I couldn't finish. The burger was juicy, made just right at medium, the bun is exactly what you want in a burger bun. They offer grilled onions, which I opted in for. The lettuce and pickles were potentially the highest quality I have come across on a burger. That goes for probably every ingredient on the burger. I have known about this place since it opened and am extremely disappointed in myself for never making an effort to stop by!I also want to address the ratings wherein people complain about the price. Show me a place with a comparable burger for the same price or less! You can't do it. The burgers here are a true experience, and worth every bit of the cost!Vegetarian options: They have a portobello mushroom burger option that I noticed.”

“Came here for a group lunch (4 adults and 3 kids) and had a wonderful meal! We started with salads and also their Fennel Caprese appetizer. The salads were super fresh, quality veggies and perfectly seasoned. The Fennel caprese was a delicious and refreshing starter, slices of sweet juicy orange on crisp fennel and with a creamy slice of mozzarella, and topped with pops of pomegranate seeds- flavors fondly reminded us of our travels to Sicilia. Then we had the short rib ravioli- a must-try! Tender chunks of short rib fill each ravioli, and topped with plentiful mushrooms, earthy and rich- decadent for sure (and well balanced with the salads). Our friends had the Amatriciana bucatini which was another winner- rich tomato sauce with satisfyingly salty guanciale and a hint of spice. We had their house white wine (Pinot Grigio) that went perfectly with our meal. Great friendly service - and appreciated that they let us blab away and didn't rush us for the bill (another lovely reminder of Italia). Highly recommend and looking forward to returning next time we're in town!”

“This place is in an amazing location. It's right on the beach in San Clemente. But BEWARE of the parking police. You have to pay a meter on an app. It was very confusing to figure this out. In fact, both my friend and I got a parking ticket that day (along with probably 10 others.) Besides this, it's a great cafe serving Panther coffee (roastery from Florida which I have been to)...they also have acai bowls, breakfast sandwiches, toasts, juices, and many other treats and foods. My friend and I had a lovely breakfast with a stunning beach view (park, walk down the hill, plant yourself on the beach, enjoy!Do be aware that you are paying for the lovely views. I think it cost close to $18 for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. But, I get it. It's a great little spot!”

One last thing, the tables outside are often kinda dirty, they should be a bit more on top of the cleaning here after people leave. But I'm glad AC is here in town!”

“My husband and i order thai food from Thai Palace almost every week. Always use their delivery service. Their delivery person is the nicest man. I absolutely recommend Thai Palace in san clemente. The food is really good and the deliveryman is exceptional.”

“Best bar I've been to. That's a bold statement Jamie is an awesome bartender. Tommy cleans the place and is super nice guy, place is literally squeaky clean. Serve bomb pizza and theirs prices are awesome!! Straight up rad bar where you can feel comfortable coming in alone. Good music, rad things on the tv. No better bar that I've been to that still existing.”

“I love this place. I’ve been coming here since it was captain culver’s…. Over 20 years ago… and the things I’m obsessed with are:1. Bombay Melt (curried chicken with secret Bali sauce, tomato, onion, and cheese atop an English muffin) served with soup of the day, green salad, or potato salad2. POG- passionfruit, orange, guava juice.They also have delicious smoothies.The place is owned by Mauricio but you’ll often find his daughters working the restaurant. :)They are lovely people with excellent customer service.You can sit inside or outside. It’s a very laid back vibe. You order at the counter, and then they will bring your food out to you or call you when it’s ready.The only thing you need to know, is sometimes they close a little early.. even though their hours are usually till 16:00, I’ve found them closed at 15:00 or 15:30. I suspect it all depends on how busy they are. So, if you want an afternoon snack, I recommend you call ahead to make sure they are still open.”

“Great taco spot! The OG taco is probably the best taco I've ever had. I won't even make steak tacos at home anymore because it doesn't make sense to, and I make crazy good steak tacos. Their's are just so much better. Tuesday is basically half off for basically the same daily taco. Maybe on Tuesday they are slightly lighter, or perhaps it's just so many that need to be made so quickly that they just seem like it. This is typical for any taco place on a Tuesday, but most other places are noticeably more meager and not the same quality on their TT's. Tuesdays at Sanchos are definitely the same quality taste and are quite a bargain, even if they perhaps are slightly lighter. Chubbie sauce is insane and they sell bottles of it.”

“We have been coming to San Clemente for 30 plus years and always have stuck to the main drag. Just one block over you will fine the quant restaurant and pub called The Nomad. Ample indoor and outdoor seating creat a spacious dining experience. Our family enjoyed the outdoor deck while we snacked on wonderful appetizers and cocktails. A fantastic and relaxing experience for any nomad!”

“The service was excellent!! The food was amazing!!! Cocktails on point!! I was so excited to see that everything on the menu was gluten free, very hard to find. Everything on menu was fresh. Very unique menu. Will definitely be back.”

“Came here for a group lunch (4 adults and 3 kids) and had a wonderful meal! We started with salads and also their Fennel Caprese appetizer. The salads were super fresh, quality veggies and perfectly seasoned. The Fennel caprese was a delicious and refreshing starter, slices of sweet juicy orange on crisp fennel and with a creamy slice of mozzarella, and topped with pops of pomegranate seeds- flavors fondly reminded us of our travels to Sicilia. Then we had the short rib ravioli- a must-try! Tender chunks of short rib fill each ravioli, and topped with plentiful mushrooms, earthy and rich- decadent for sure (and well balanced with the salads). Our friends had the Amatriciana bucatini which was another winner- rich tomato sauce with satisfyingly salty guanciale and a hint of spice. We had their house white wine (Pinot Grigio) that went perfectly with our meal. Great friendly service - and appreciated that they let us blab away and didn't rush us for the bill (another lovely reminder of Italia). Highly recommend and looking forward to returning next time we're in town!”

“We absolutely love coming here. The kitchen is open, so you can see everything being prepared. The ingredients are fresh, and it's great when the kids can pick their ingredients by sight. As a grandmother, I love that it's always clean, and when they are not preparing food, they are cleaning.BTW - I'm a tea drinker - the teas are always fresh brewed and unlike most pizza restaurants it doesn't taste like a dirty tea pot.”

I had two cashier contacts and the guy who gave me my food. All were super warm and courteous. The team and management need to be commended. This is how restaurants should run. “I came to SC for a family visit and they offered we go to Jadore. We were a few adults, 2 kids and a baby.As a vegan and gluten intolerant person it felt like there weren’t many options on the menu as everything has bread, cheese or meat on it.I ordered the coconut and squash soup and it tasted like Gerber baby puree. The person there which I think it one of the owners quickly replaced it with the açaí bowl which was ok and also gave us a free muffin. I really did feel like he was trying his best.Also I wouldn’t recommend this for families with younger kids as there wasn’t anything for the kids that was nutritious apart from crepes with chocolate which weren’t what I wanted my 8 and 2 year old to eat for lunch.Overall everyone said the food was ok but not great. Portion sizes were small and it was expensive.The great part was the garden in the back and the French music in the background. It could’ve been a bad day so I’m giving this 3 stars.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly unless you want to have pastries and sweet crepes with Nutella”
