Tried this restaurant on a short trip to San Diego. Only service complaint is that it took about 40 minutes from seating to having the first dish arrive. Had the following. Scores are out of 10. 1. Parker House Roll - 7/10. I really don't know what they are supposed to taste like, but have seen them on a few menus in San Diego so thought I would try it. Such an amazing experience at AVANT! Everything from drinks at the bar to food at the table was delicious. Felt like we were eating at a Michelin star ⭐️ restaurant. Everyone was satisfied & raving that we should come back for the next birthday dinner. We ordered almost everything from menu and each and every dish was yummy.

Awesome dining experience. Stand out items were the beef Wellington, all of the fish crudo small plates, the Parker house rolls and the brown butter cake. The raviolo was also cooked perfectly.
