Best chai I have ever had, hands down, and as a non-coffee drinker, chai is my go-to. Consistently great at all their locations. And the service is always really great too.

I was worried the vanilla bean latte would be too sweet but it wasn’t. It has just a hint of sweetness. Came out at a temperature you could immediately start drinking which is slightly too cold for me. The macchiato came out about the same temperature. Everything came out super fast.

It’s a cute cozy place, they make atmosphere really good, just not a coffee. Taste like water down coffee.

I don't live in San Diego but I've been here a few times when I visit a couple times a year. This spot is consistently good and I live in NYC so I'm picky about my coffee. The service is a bit slow and I do not recommend sitting outside since the airplanes fly by frequently and you can barely hear when they do. They have one small table indoors. However, if you are getting coffee to go, this coffee is top notch and on par with NYC coffee shops. I tried the holiday drink Stroopwafel latte with oat milk which was delicious and my mom had an iced latte with regular milk that she also really enjoyed. I wish they had more seating but it's right next to Trader Joe's if you need a jolt of caffeine before grocery shopping. Also, I recently had a Karl Strauss beer with these coffee beans in it which I highly recommend (the golden lager).

$4.75 for a shot of espresso served in a paper cup in obscene and violates the code of coffee (espresso should be affordable for all)

After we landed in San Diego, we drove to Bird Rock Coffee Roasters to try their coffee. We ordered cappuccino and dark chocolate mocha and they were both delicious. The baristas were all very nice and interior was very homey. We loved their espresso cup so we bought it as well! Hopefully, they open in Houston sometimes soon!

Another MATCHA ALERT!Bird Rock has great coffee, but for the non-coffee drinkers like myself, they have incredible matcha! I am so over the culture of matcha powder premixed with sugar. Bird Rock actually uses a matcha like paste, but it doesn't come sweetened, so you can get your matcha sans sugary filler. They do offer a separate sweetener, but if you're looking for an earthy matcha like me, you can find it here. TG!Appreciate this location specifically, because who doesn't want a drink in hand as they walk around the bay. This is the perfect stop for a beverage before a stroll or an afternoon meet up with friends.

In town for a soccer tournament and had some time to kill before heading to the airport on a Sunday afternoon, our party of six stopped by Liberty Station. I'd already had my coffee fill for the day, so I went with a pomegranate green iced tea and it was solid! It was tasty and refreshing and just what I needed. But then I saw how much the guys I was with enjoyed their coffees, so I ended up getting a couple of lbs of coffee to take home with me. I went with a bag of the Little Italy Blend and a bag of the Monkey Bite Espresso. When you purchase a bag, you are also offered a drip coffee or cold brew.Service was friendly and the location was great... I learned that it's one of ten locations in the San Diego area. They also have some cute merch, and some lite bites. So far, I'm a fan!

I think i was a victim of racism by two baristas, at 2:36 pm, November 18 The lady who took my order (the blonde girl) was friendly and kind, but the two baristas (a man and a woman) looked at me in a horrible way when they heard me thank them and say goodbye to them with a Mexican accent and they didn't even respond to none of the three sentences that I said to them when leaving, there was a very uncomfortable silence and they kept looking at me in a very strange way. I mention the time and day so that those in charge can know who they were and talk to them about their attitude, please. It is worth mentioning that they were quite friendly to the Native American customers who were there. That was my perception, whatever the case..... they were not friendly, regardless of my race

Great lattes. Don't expect an average coffee house and this is miles above any national competitor. It is however more expensive, but worth every penny.
