Just discovered our local Japanese izakaya, Chiba! Prices are fantastic! And we were happily surprised the food was prepared well with food ingredients. The salmon teriyaki plate was so much food for a great price, salmon cooked perfectly, not overdone, and a big portion. Seafood ramen broth was delicious, though these noodles are not my favorite. Spicy salmon roll, solid. Seaweed salad, solid. And can't go wrong with large beers or large sake for around $6! Excellent service...read full review
Ended up here after the gym & everything was sooo yummy. Customer service was great! Definitely coming back soon. Ate the food before I could get a nice picture but if you're looking for an affordable spot that's tasty, try Chiba!

Good sushi, decent prices. Rolls I've enjoyed so far are the hawaiian roll, kamakazi, lemon roll, and one of their special lobster rolls (can't remember the name, but there's a couple on the menu). Service has always been friendly and welcoming. Been here twice and it hasn't been too busy, even on a Saturday night. Easy to find a seat straight away at the bar. Chiba will probably the first sushi place I think of if I'm craving sushi - close by, good, decent prices, quick and casual.
