“I am writing an honest review because I decided to give this spot a second chance and I'm so glad I did! From a family who is half Cuban and half Portuguese .. We stopped by Saturday night for some Cuban sandwiches and coffee and although the food was pretty good it was pretty noticeable that there was some complications with managing the place but I don't blame the staff, you can tell everyone was trying their best.. Due to the food being good my family and I decided to stop by again yesterday night, to give it a second shot, because they definitely had some potential, and I was absolutely right! We were assisted by the entire staff, I was super impressed with the service this time- Staff was super friendly and kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything extra, The young lady up in front gave us a free Cortadito out of courtesy as well! I wish I would've got his name, but there was a man who was helping us out always checking up on us & even helped us with ordering desserts my family and I had the Guava Cheese Cake, and the salted caramel tart , I hope they continue to keep up the positive vibe and continue to serve the way that they did last night, I will be bringing my family here once they're in town!“
“This place was a big of a hidden gem - the service was incredible for fast casual and the empanadas and beans and rice were probably the best we have had - cooked perfectly and so well seasoned. We also loved the Ropa Vieja. Also don't miss the Cuban coffee and a cinnamon roll!“
“Very good Cuban desserts, excellent service! They are better than those at Porto's! Buy even to take to Los Angeles, very pleasant atmosphere. The coffee was magnificent! Very good service and very fast!Excellent service great food, Bought some pastries to take all the way to Los Angeles. The owners were very welcoming and very friendly, had my order In a very timely fashion. Super warm and fresh, way better than Porto's. Would definitely and most definitely will be coming back!“
“A friend had been recommending this place near Convoy area and finally got a chance to go. Decent parking lot right in front although they can get full during dinner times and weekends since there are three restaurants in the plaza. You order at the register and food is brought out to your table at Havana. Menu is displayed well and service is quick and friendly. My one downside is they are pretty busy and staff moves quickly, but couldn’t keep up with busting tables after people had left so loud off tables just had dirty plates on them for a while. Other than that the place is A+. I got the Arroz Con Pollo and the rice was a Game changer. Chicken was just ok but the rice and the sweet plantains were really good. My wife got the Havana chicken sandwich and it was so great. The chicken on the sandwich was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the bread was really fresh. They have sweetened espresso drinks as well. Got the cortadito style Cuban coffee. Was really tasty. Got it with Oatmilk. I will defiantly be back to try more of their tasty sandwiches and the roasted pork dish as well.“
