I had the pasta with meatballs. The pasta was great! The meatballs needed extra flavor compared to the pasta. Bread was good. If I had to choose this place for Italian food again, I would pass.

Had a great experience here. Affordable, but really well done pasta. I really like the noodle texture. You'll be fine not adding protein to the dishes.

Food is AMAZING!! Best gnocchi, it is pillowy and soft! Melts in your mouth. I had mine paired with the sausage cream and carmelized onion sauce! My husband had the special lamb with polenta and that was just as superb! The service was great, warm, friendly and informative. The prices are extremely reasonable for the cuisine. 1-Appetizer, 2-alcoholic drinks, 2 entrees and sparkling water for only $85!! You won't be dissapointrd!

Wow! My husband and I live nearby, and tonight, we went here for the third time. It has become our Valentine’s Day tradition. Italian food is my favorite and my husband and I have actually traveled to Italy, so we do know good Italian food. I really do think that this place has the best Italian food I’ve had here in SD. Their menu has a ton of options, the prices are very fair, the staff is amazing, and the atmosphere is adorable and charming. My husband and I look forward to going for lunch sometime when his work schedule allows! Don’t miss out on this gem!

Family run Italian place on a hidden strip mall. Food is great, portions are a bit small, but tasty.

Love this place! Small "mom n pop" sort of restaurant, staff is always helpful and cheery.Homemade pasta with a set of sauces, decent wine selection. Pannecotta dessert is always a family favorite. Great little nugget, tucked into a strip mall.

This is our go-to local Italian restaurant. The food is consistantly good, the pasta handmade. The service is quick and personal. It is tiny inside but has a nice lively ambiance. The restaurant has restored all the tables taken out during the Covid scamdemic and is back to normal.Parking: It is strip mall parking, but usually there is plenty.

Got dinner to go. The pasta itself was really good, but very disappointed in the amount of salmon I got, and how rubbery the calamari was. Would not go there again for the prices and what you get served.

I come here every time I come to San Diego which is 8 to 10 times a year. The food is amazing and since I make my own homade Italian food from family recipes I usually avoid Italian restaurants. This is the exception. The prices are reasonable the pasta is fresh the sauces are fantastic and the deserts are to die for. Highly recommend eating here

An undiscovered treasure! The house-made pasta is truly exceptional. They present a tray showcasing the day's pasta selections for you to choose from. The caprese and burrata made for excellent starters. My pasta choice was the sundried tomato pasta with norcina sauce (a delightful blend of cream sauce, sausage, and caramelized onions) – absolutely delicious! To cap off the experience, I indulged in the dessert trio, with a special fondness for the tiramisu. The service provided was outstanding!
