“We are here twice today (breakfast and dinner) and want to take a moment to thank all of the servers and staff working on Christmas Day. They were all friendly and kind and absolutely in the holiday spirit. Marisol was so sweet and attentive. She even stayed calm and professional when a drunk patron made a fool of herself and acted belligerent.“

“Andrea was so lovely and nice. I don’t have family here in San Diego and Andrea made me feel like I had family here at Dennys. She even said to me “your face got a lot more color to it just after eating the salad” this ment a lot to me because that’s why I came to Dennys. I have been feeling very sick lately and everyone has been telling me that I’m stressed out and I need to eat a good hearty meal. “They have a menu that stands the test the time the service was fabulous. The place was clean and easy to locate.
The weight staff provided prompt service. They cleared the tables after we were through eating so we could speak and talk to each other very good.“

“One of the few Denny's that is still 24hrs! Arrived at peak night-owl hour of 1:30am.
Lots of parking!
We were torn between ordering to-go or dining in. Both options offered different discounts, after going back and forth trying to figure out the best deal for over 20 minutes we decided to go inside and seek help from the waitress.

Our waitress, Lenore, an absolute gem of a human, had our order figured out in a snap🫰🏼, brilliant. She greeted us with a sincere, warm disposition and knew the menu like the back of her hand. Sometimes solo nightshift workers are standoffish or inattentive. Not in Lenore's case, she was quick as a whip and a genuinely helpful, sweet lady.

The food was great. Our very detail oriented order was perfect. Eggs over easy were executed phenomenally .Hash browns were the perfect balance of soft and crispy. Pancakes were large and fluffy.óp

Highly recommend the stuffed banana French toast with salted caramel. 😋

Overall, it was a delightful night. 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ service, a quick wait, an excellent breakfast in a laid back, clean, welcoming atmosphere.

p.s. it was too chilly for me to enjoy but with summer around the corner they have a lovely outside seating area. Perfect for enjoying the morning sun over coffee or going out for brunch with friends! Ample seating and they're shaded and well kept!“

“I go to Point Loma for vacation and deep sea fishing. On the days I don’t fish, I definitely go to Dennys to have a wonderful breakfast. Clean, waitress is knowledgeable and well manured, and keeps the coffee cup full. Reasonable prices. I’m sad to hear they are going to close all the Dennys. My favorite place. I went to Dennys when I was in the Navy. Always a good meal. And 40 years later, I go there and I get the same awesome meal. Please don’t close! I love this place! Dayton , Ohio“

“Gabby was such a doll! My son and I had just got back from international travels and we were super hungry and tired! Our service was prompt, food was everything we needed, and all the holiday decorations made us feel right at home! My son, who has special needs, was very curious and kept asking her random questions throughout our meal.
