The lady that works there is not just rude, she is rude and is hard to deal with! I asked for two samples, and her face dropped, I asked her to get those two flavors in a medium cup, and she put one flavor and I kept say my that’s enough she won’t stop, then she wanted to put topping before adding the second flavor and I wanted both flavors first then topping and she wouldn’t do it! She was so rude as if she will be eating it not me! Also, the yogurt was kinda melted ! Never again. So rude

The frozen yogurt here is amazing, it is a family owned company which sets it apart from all the other chain yogurt businesses. They have different discount on different days to include a military discount. The lady makes my frozen yogurt with the toppings I get look so well decorated and then always adds more yogurt on top. My boyfriend goes all out with toppings and his yogurts always look nice as well. They have tables and chairs to sit inside or outside tables as well. The ambiance of the place is clean and they play music that's not too loud on the inside. Definitely my favorite frozen yogurt place in San Diego.

I got the low calorie peanut butter flavor and it tasted great! Just the way I expected it to taste. No complaints, hopefully I can try more flavors in the future.

Golden Spoon will always hold a special place in my heart as I grew up going to the old location in Escondido and also went to the La Mesa location with my favorite mentor for so many years. I will say this location could do better in the terms of having more flavor variety. From what I remember from other locations I have been to there are always so many and they are always rotating out but the flavors they do have a great! They have a TON of topping varieties as well, my go to is cookie dough or cheesecake bites when I'm making super sweet or if I am going the more tart route that day I love adding berries and cheesecake bites. This location actually has a decent amount of seating inside and outside which is nice and it is very clean inside which is always a plus. I was the only one here the evening I stopped by so it was very quick with service so I was in and out and back home fast!

I went to get some fro-yo, when I pulled my stamp card put (with stamps from this location on it), the lady at the counter grabbed my card and began destroying it. I asked yo speak to the manager for this erratic and unethical behavior, apparently she was the owner - I doubt it, I don't think an owner could behave like this - her name was "Chong". The other clients tried to intervene, taken aback by her behavior. At the end, I left and didn't order anything - I don't condone this kind of behavior. Lady, if you are reading this - get some help and learn some manners.

Excellent! Based on his recommendation I enjoyed the peanut butter yogurt. I usually enjoy strawberry and cake batter was not ready. But, they have coffee and other flavors too. I love the peanut butter chips! I loved the banana sliced into my regular sized cup. I even got peanut butter sauce but skipped marshmallow. Regular is like $6.50. Seating inside and outside. Parking lot is often about full.

They don't have a lot of the flavors that I am super addicted to unfortunately. The store is always clean and well-maintained and super easy to order. Will keep coming back

Yogurt was poor quality. Tasted really artificial like straight up sugar syrup. I wanted Kit Kat on mine and was given a packaged KitKat and when I opened it and took one bite I immediately knew it was expired because the water was soggy. I checked the date on the Kit Kat and it was expired five months ago ?

This was the worst frozen yogurt I have had. A regular with brownies and peanuts was $8.05. Tasted sour and the brownie was stale and didn't taste like chocolate. Very under whelmed and bummed.

something changed with the hilcrest location. the fro yo is so liquidy now and definitely isn't the same brand of yogurt any more. they offer the smallest amount of toppings that don't equal the price. so disappointed. i have to save my golden spoon trips for RB location.

$8 for the tiniest cup of ice cream. There's usually a lady here and she serves a decent amount. If their is a man at the counter you will get a lot more somewhere else for $8, not worth it. He also charged us $1.45 for 3 different toppings. My kids only picked 2 because they did not like the other options, you think he would give them double of one of the other?? Yeah no, only 2 toppings. Last time we come here
