Golden Spoon will always hold a special place in my heart as I grew up going to the old location in Escondido and also went to the La Mesa location with my favorite mentor for so many years. I will say this location could do better in the terms of having more flavor variety. Excellent! Based on his recommendation I enjoyed the peanut butter yogurt. I usually enjoy strawberry and cake batter was not ready. But, they have coffee and other flavors too. I love the peanut butter chips! I loved the banana sliced into my regular sized cup. I even got peanut butter sauce but skipped marshmallow. Regular is like $6.50. Seating inside and outside. Parking lot is often about full.

The frozen yogurt here is amazing, it is a family owned company which sets it apart from all the other chain yogurt businesses. They have different discount on different days to include a military discount. The lady makes my frozen yogurt with the toppings I get look so well decorated and then always adds more yogurt on top.
