I came here late one night and the place was still busy and active. Nice place to chill, have a quick bite and meet some cool people. I had fish tacos and they were some of the best fish tacos I've had in a while.
This place is authentic, delicious, fast, and affordable. Everything you could ever want in your neighborhood Mexican place, and much better than some over hyped places like tacos El Gordo or Oscars.The location is a bit sketchy, but like come on... Isn't that where the best Mexican food is? And like when I'm done eating, you can feel it on the way out the next day if you know what I mean, but that only adds to the excellence that is Humerto's! Overall the food is good, although it's not always consistent. Some days it's the best food I've had from a taco shop, other days it is bad, but most times it's just average.
