Update Jan 2024: we came three separate times and every time the Uyghur plov was not available. The second time we came, the service was really slow. Our hot dish was placed on the counter for a long time before serving to our table, so the dish was a bit cold. It seemed like a staff shortage problem during the busy hours. But sometimes it was really empty compared to the taco shop next door.Original review:Very very delicious! The milk tea pot (sweet) is just very tasty. It comes with a big pot with hot milk tea and a couple of small glasses. The milk tea pot can be shared with everyone on the table. The Uyghur Laghman comes with noodles and a hot sauce (your choice meat and veggies). The waitress poured the hot sauce onto the noodles at serving time. You can choose spicy level 1-10 before they make the dish. We chose spicy level 1 and really liked the tomato flavor in the sauce. The lamb skewer served at a really big portion and is enough to be shared with a couple of people on the table. We really liked the Samsa. The bun stuffed with hot beef. We ordered two of them and more to take home. The only down side is that the Uyghur Plov was not available the time we came (Sunday noon). This was a disappointment as we came for this dish before the trip. This is definitely a restaurant that we will come back. We will try other dishes next time!

The staff is very friendly and will help and guide you with your selection. My chicken was a little dry, not quite as appealing as in some of the photos. But it was acceptable. I'll try something else next time.

When we got to the restaurant on a Friday evening around 6pm , there were plenty of available tables. An hour later, it got busy. Anyway, the service was helpful. We got the naan and the shredded potatoes for appetizers. They were both good. For our entrees we got the lamb shank, goosh naan (meat pie), green beans, and the dumplings. The lamb shank was cooked well and very tender though the portion size was a tad smaller than expected. The goosh naan was unique and the top favorite of our dishes. The green beans and dumplings were okay. None of the entrees included basmati rice so we ordered that separately. Then finally we ordered the honey cake which was delicious. Not too sweet and so good. I would go back just for a slice of the cake. Overall, the food was good. A bit on the pricey side for the portion sizes. The restaurant is very casual. Menu selection is good with unique choices. Parking can be challenging.

Red flag: this place was empty despite the high reviews. I've had this type of cuisine in NYC so I figured perhaps it will be just as good. Unfortunately, food was bland and not as "fresh". Naan texture felt like it was warmed in the microwave; mantu was chewy and bland. That was a bummer because those two plates should have been appealing. We tried the noodles- bland. Palau tasted old and dry- the meat had this zangha smell and taste. The only thing that was good was the spicy chicken kabob and eggplant dish. Too bad--maybe they had a bad day or business is slow but what a waste and poor experience.

The place was cozy restaurant with a nice vibe. Food quality was good but not awesome. People were friendly. Finally, prices were moderate.

Very good Kabab although it was a bit salty. Prices were reasonable and parking was easy and in front of the restaurant.

I'd give this place a 3 stars out of 5. The mantu ( Dumplings) were ok And the kebab was not the tastiest especially for the price.

I am going to start by saying that the service was great here. The gentleman serving us was very kind and he gave us even extra appetizers for free. The food however was not so good. We tried the koobideh kabob as well as the lamb kabob and they were not good at all. The koobideh was extremely dry and has a very fatty taste. The lamb was just terrible. The one star goes for the service.
