Alrighty soooooo after a few visits but they were not open. And after a a tiny hiccup about getting the hours of operation clear. The owner let me know they have been short handed lately. He advised me that the hours of operation was changed online. And the time that is posted outside the restaurant are now ?? correct. It’s a super cute small yellow and green bungalow. Very colorful and cheerful. It is kind of a reminder of the unique and quaint restaurants in Key West. Now with saying that I hope you all will give this tasty neighborhood restaurant a try. This is what I got today:CALAMANSA COOLER .. (I’m positive I spelled that incorrectly )….. was ABSOLUTELY DELISH!! Definitely gives Starbee’s refreshers a run for the money.LUMPIA…. They are a large size, a crispy golden brown, with a moist flavorful meat filling. SUPER TASTYCHICKEN ADOBO LUMPIA… Chucks of chicken adobo with rice. It’s wrapped in a crunch lumpia wrapper. Fried to golden brown perfection. You get a large order enough for two. Having had chicken adobo numerous times in my family. I guess did expect a little bit more of a garlicky tangy flavor explosion. But it is still very delish to say the least.Do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and go check out Lia’s Lumpia. You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.Parking: It’s a small yellow house on Logan ave. right under the Coronado Bridge. They have street parking ?️. But you gotta be lucky ? on the weekend. You might have to walk a smidge but worth it.Kid-friendliness: Lots of outside eating space in the back of restaurant.

Best Lumpia in town! Must Try! Spencer does an amazing job merging a family staple with new & tasty creations. The Lola's lumpia, Calamansi wings, pancit and peach cobbler lumpia (Wow!) were all 5 stars. Can't wait to come back for dinner.

Best Philippino food that I ever had in San Diego, I ordered the steak/rice dish, lumpia and the chicken wings. Please take the time to show this awesome family owned business a try. Also met the son and his beautiful mother. Very wholesome people, great talks and love to spread! Will be coming back very soon.

Really nice. Feels like a family's house/restaurant. Super friendly service. The lumpia (classic) was really good, fried perfectly. Very personable ambience. Great after (or with) a beer.

Review will change once I get to try it but really disappointed that they were closed. Read the reply to the reviews and checked the website, socials, and everything to make sure they were open. The online ordering was also open so I thought they'd be open, but drove to see it was closed.

This is the real thing. Felt like I was back home in Hawaii with every mouth watering, savory bite I took of the classic lumpia. But not just the food but the Aloha spirit is alive and well here with fantastic service with a smile. I would eat here again. 10/10

Food was not that good. Greasy, burnt. Flavor was ok. I've had better lumpia for a lot less coin.

The ambiance of this place is impressive. It feels like you're at your aunties house having a home-cooked meal. All the food is made to order, and the taste is exceptional. I've had Spencer's food before, and it never disappoints. I came two times in four days, and the second time I visited, I was unaware I arrived ten minutes before closing, and they were so gracious and still took my order. Service is fantastic--Def one of the best local spots in SD.
