Ciccia Osteria is a gem of authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of Barrio Logan. The chefs, Mario and Francesca, use recipes from Northern Italy and pair them with exquisite wines. They even bake their own panettone, a traditional Christmas cake. The restaurant has a cozy and charming atmosphere, with food made with love. I've been to Ciccia a few times before and they have kept their food quality and service too notch! It might be surprising that such a good Italian restaurant would be hidden in the Barrio Logan neighborhood, but I guess that's what makes them a hidden gem.
