As any other Parakeet Cafe store, very clean and well organized. Great service. Pretty spacious and well organized. The food was great and so was the service, friendly and helpful.

Went in here for the first time today and I'm impressed! The atmosphere is adorable for a cafe and I love the self seating (kid friendly) environment. First thing that comes to mind is COLOR! From the walls to the drinks to the food, there is color everywhere! It's both refreshing and inviting, oh and sooo insta worthy. The food is wonderful and very flavorful! They don't add a bunch of extra sugar or use hidden ingredients. They let the ingredients speak for themselves and elevate them just enough that it doesn't overwhelm the palette. As a Chef, I appreciate the hard work, creativity, and most of all service. The staff is very hands on and check in often, which is great for a self seating place. They remember where you are and really take the time to make to moment right. When they are busy, it is a bit of a wait, but they are on top of it and make sure you are taken care of. A breath of fresh air for the Carlsbad Forum Outlets. Can't wait to take my girlfriends here for brunch! I wish them all the success.

They don't post prices on their online menus. Their customers don't care about price? But having been there, it's clear this is a style over function place. I had a decent meal, but the prices as I recall were very high for indifferent counter service. As others have stated, seems employees are there to get content for their influencer identities than to work.EDIT: My mistake, perhaps you can simply say on the menu page that prices are on the Online Ordering system? Or simply upload a recent image of your menu to the photos.

Absolute terrible prices. A cookie was $7 - they didn't post the prices on the menu, total scam, total hustle. Don't waste your money at places that do this sort of stuff. Don't be a sucker.

Cute cafe but coffee was not drinkable. Beans were over roasted and brewed at too high of a temperature. I had to throw it away.

We stayed in downtown San Diego because it was dog friendly. There was a dog park right behind our hotel and every morning we walked down to Parakeet Cafe and sat outside. The food was always great, and the staff even better. 10/10 recommend, I'm ready to go back!Dietary restrictions: Great and filling vegan options ?

My first and likely only visit to Parakeet Cafe in One Paseo was disappointing. My husband and I were looking forward to a casual dining experience on Sunday morning and left feeling ripped off and frustrated. Our total bill was $39 without anything to drink for an acai bowl and a breakfast burrito. Yes, they're using quality ingredients but are charging at least $5-6 more for each item and serving it at a smaller volume and without any value added. I was going to order a seasonal latte but refuse to pay $10 for one coffee. The burrito was good, but very small. The acai bowl was underwhelming and seemed to have more granola than acai. The almond butter and fresh raspberries were a nice touch. We started off on the quiet patio only to be overtaken by two separate groups of 10+ kids and their parents, including one woman who kept hovering and waiting for us to leave so she could snatch up another table. I don't think I'll be returning but never want to say never.
