It’s definitely a park that this place has its own parking area so that makes it really convenient especially for Hillcrest. And they give you really good portion size the fish taste really good and they’re quick and service is very nice.

Came by on a Friday evening with a group of 3 for dinner and it was not that busy. The parking, on the other hand, can be tough because their lot is small and shared with other spaces. Street parking is also an option but be prepared for the craziness that is Hillcrest during peak hours. The service was quick and friendly. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The poke itself was great. I ordered a small bowl, which comes with two scoops of protein. I opted for the tuna and salmon and they tasted fresh. All in all, it is a solid poke place in Hillcrest especially if the parking situation does not deter you!

On our last vacation day in San Diego, my friends and I decided to ditch our food recs and give into our poke cravings. We had a hard time deciding on the place but chose poke chop by dice rolling. I'd say I got lucky girl syndrome with this dice roll because poke chop was ultimately the best thing we had in SD! Despite getting a small size, the portions are huge and at a great price! We couldn't finish a whole bowl ourselves so we took some to-go. They are not skimpy on the fresh protein servings and have a great selection of toppings/sauces. They also offer cooked meals, such as rice plates. My friend really enjoyed the chicken katsu plate. The service was superior as the two front workers had casual conversations with us about our trip, OC, SD, and more. I appreciate them so much for making us feel welcomed in their city and offering recommendations for dessert afterwards. The restaurant is quite small, but there are plenty of seating inside and out. Parking can be challenging since the plaza is tiny, but the food made us forget the struggle! If I'm ever in San Diego again, I'll be coming back! No questions asked :)))
One of the best poke spots I've found around San Diego. Ingredients are always fresh and they don't skimp on the portion sizes! Delicious!

Phenomenal Poke Spot! Better than your typical build your own poke bowl spot because they have some very tasty seared fish options that just makes them a little different than anywhere else. Staff and owner were super friendly and they did not chintz on the portions here. If you're looking for a place to grab poke with a ton of ways to customize your bowl - this place is it!

The fish is fresh, the customer service on point, and prices to match!
