I placed an online order and had my boyfriend pick it up. They told him it would be another 10 min. He went back in and then it was another 7. It’s been over an hour and either the people who work here are under the influence of something. The manager is too busy flirting instead of helping the team push orders. This Popeyes is only an exit from me and it takes too long to get food. I could’ve went to another city and the food would be faster. Do better!

Lobby was closed at 6pm on Monday evening when they're were at least 6 employees inside. No sign on for saying closed. In fact only sign I saw said open till 10pm. They keep giving me the signal of steering a wheel indicating they wanted me to go thru the drive thru. Didn't bother went somewhere else.

This is the worst Popeyes I have ever been too. Today they didn't even have chicken ready. The manager, Jeanesy, said she didn't know this when she took my order. I waited in line 13 minutes just to get up to the window to hear there was a 15 minute wait for the chicken and I know from previous experiences with this location, the wait is always longer than what they say it will be.They closed the restaurant during to a staffing shortage but didn't care to tell people ordering that they had no chicken prepared. Terrible customer service.

I LOVE Popeye's Chicken! Far and above the Col. and there are only a few fried chicken places that can compete. That said, the Santo location off of Aero Dr. at Murphy Canyon near Tierra Santa has much to be desired mostly with quality of service.I have been to this location at least 5 times over the last two years. I've been to other locations around San Diego at least double that figure during the same time period. Each time I have been to this location, I have hope that the last experience there was an anomaly and that this new visit will be better. Unfortunately,that has not been the case, ever. This last visit, in the early afternoon, late November 2023, should have been easy. Nobody at all in the dining room. Only one or two cars in the drive-thru lane. The food coming out took two-three times longer than any other Popeyes that I've been to and there was nobody there! How is this possible???, I ask myself for the 5th time. Every visit to this location, regardless of time of day (I've been both at night and in the afternoon) has been the same; slow service and some of the employees generating what can only be described as 'attitude' (for no reason whatsoever). The one gentleman I spoke to was kind, the two young ladies seemed like they had better things to do than work. I get that it's fast food and employees have to have fun with each other etc but go ahead and do that and....WORK! The other locations, like the one on Convoy in Kearny Mesa or the one in Lemon Grove off of Lemon Grove Ave, for example, are both usually very busy but the employees get the job done and their customer service is decent.I much would rather leave positive reviews but this visit pushed me over the edge here and I won't be back again. I can only surmise that at best the management is to blame and at worst it would be the ownership for this location. I don't know, how could I? I'm a simple consumer just trying to pick up lunch. At the very least, management should probably be cleared out and a fresh perspective brought in. I bet business would double or triple! Surely I am not the only one to have had these experiences there.
I've honestly never been here, and had my water come out right the first time. Sometimes the employees are nice, sometimes they're very flippant. Most of the time, it's apparent that they don't care much about what they're doing. Which I don't blame them, it's fast food service, but the least you can do is get somebody's order right if they're paying $30 for two meals. I keep giving this place a chance, but I don't think I'll come back. As I write this, there are 16 people waiting for their order to be filled, and no movement in sight from the staff.

Literally the worst Popeyes I’ve ever been too. The wait is always ridiculously long, drive thru is always backed up. They will close the dining room at random times and then have the audacity to catch an attitude when you come through the drive thru. This place needs to look at new management immediately.

I've never been to any fast food restaurants that's constantly always slow, I started doing mobile orders of couple months ago because the wait is always so long ,regardless of the time of day or how many customers they....I show up 20min to 30min after placing the order I still have to wait. I'm waiting now it's been 30min since I placed the order and no other customers...I hate that this is the only popeyes in the neighborhood.
