When in San Diego, you gotta find great tacos! I found this place on Yelp and wasn't disappointed. If I lived closer I would be coming here a lot! Food: I ordered 1 Al Pastor and 1 Cactus Taco, the line goes really quickly, and I asked for recommendations since it was my first time. Ambiance: Classic Taqueria Vibe in the Gaslamp district, parking was easy to find in the lot close by. Workers are friendly too!
I remember waiting in anticipation for this location to open and finally tried it. Great location in the gaslamp with the same feel and structure as the other locations. Service is quick and the security guard even helped us in ordering fries. Todays order was fries, suadero and lengua tacos and horchata. The adobada is a must try when you're here! I got one but I suspect I should have gotten two... and maybe the adobada fries. I will be back! It's a bit confusing for your first time, but the security guards are great at directing people into the respective meat lines to order. If possible, I would also ask for extra onions and cilantro since they seem to skimp on this a bit.
