The food was very good. I got the bacon Benedict and the potatoes were tender. However, the service is not up to par. The hostesses were not what I would consider friendly. I'm sure they are busy but they seem rather annoyed. The servers were nice but once we placed our order our server never came back to check on us. The pistachio coffee I ordered at 11:35AM didn't get to be until 12:40PM, after the meal was over, and that was after I had to flag down the waitress after multiple attempts and ask them for it. My biggest let down was that no one checked on our table. The food is tasty, but I would rather take my business to a place where I am attended and the staff is friendly.

This is a solid brunch place! I went on a Wednesday afternoon and got seated immediately. French Toast (8/10): I loved the texture of the french toast. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cinnamon flavor was also pretty prominent, which is what I look for in french toast. However, the toast tasted really buttery, which I wasn't really fond of. The cream on top was tasty. I thought it was going to be too sweet, but it had a very subtle flavor. It tasted like whipped cream. The syrup wasn't too sweet either. Farmer's Plate (6/10): Overall, it very bland. It definitely needed more seasoning. The potatoes were soft and the eggs were fluffy. The bread was a little stale, as well. The sausage was yummy and juicy. It was a little salty, but it worked well with the rest of the things on the plate. Ambiance: I loved the environment! The inside is really pretty and has lots of fun decorations. It wasn't too loud when I was there, but probably because there weren't that many people. I don't remember if there was music or not, but I know it wasn't blasting (or else I'd have noticed it). Service: Our waiter was kind. Nothing remarkable, but overall amicable. You won't be met with rude service.

Came here for brunch last weekend with friends and we had a great time! The wait was only 20min on Saturday around noon which wasn't bad. Our server was super fun and we really enjoyed him. The vibe was bright and fun, perfect weekend spot. LOVE that they have so many specialty cocktails including the espresso martinis. The pistachio martini is a must try in my opinion! The food portions were good and everyone enjoyed everything. I had the açaí bowl and side of French toast because I was having a major sweet tooth that morning and I wasn't disappointed! Parking is on the street and they take reservations so I suggest giving them a call before you come in if you don't want to wait. We will definitely be back!

Came for brunch with my mom as she has celiac and needed a place that provided a plethora of gluten-free options. We caught the restaurant a slow day as there were only six other people there, but the restaurant itself is well-designed and well lit with light. Nice warm brunch atmosphere. The servers were pleasant and on top of the service, but again there were only a few people in the restaurant when I was there. We ordered the salmon and bacon Benedict, which were delicious. My mom got the bacon Benedict gluten-free. She thought it was still very good which is high compliments for her as she is a very picky gluten-free eater. I also got a maximum mocha, which was great. Overall, good experience. The menu looks really balanced, and I do want to come back here again and try some other libations along with their other dishes. I definitely would recommend this place to people with any food restrictions as they have many options.

Honestly, pretty disappointed. My husband and I have been excited to try The Vibe - we expected the 30 minute wait to be seated on a Sunday at 1:30pm, but once we were seated, no one came to ask for our order or to even offer us water. After sitting for 25 minutes, I had to go to the host stand and ask if we could get a server. Then, once we placed our order it took another 45 minutes to get our food. They started closing before we got served. At no point did anyone ask if we wanted more to drink, or if everything was to our satisfaction. We then waited for 30 minutes after clearly finishing our meal - still, no one checked on us. No one brought us a check. And there wasn't even anyone to flag down and ask for the check. Aside from that, the food wasn't anything outstanding. Especially considering the price point. We got the Benny burro and the smoked salmon benedict - they were okay. Plenty filling, but nothing to write home about. The espresso martini we shared was great! The highlight of our visit. But know that it is quite noisy. The floors and walls are concrete with tall ceilings and open windows to Adams Ave. Definitely not a place for intimate conversation. Very instagrammable and trendy ambiance - but it ends there, unfortunately.

We had a great brunch at The Vibe in Normal Heights! The smoked salmon eggs benedict with avocado, plus the french toast with berries were delicious. You must try the yummy Aloha Latte (coconut macadamia nut coffee). We were there on an early Sunday morning and had terrific service! We definitely want to come back and try other items on the menu. The French toast was fireeee but the food in general wasn’t that good. Not good enough to come back. The papacito plate was mid. The chilaquiles were mid too. For the price and quantity…….I would go somewhere

The steak was done perfectly! The espresso martinis are to die for !!! I was I love with the decor. They have wide windows so it gets a good San Diego breeze and our server was excellent!! He made such good recommendations for food and second drinks. We had to get a round two!

The Vibe has a Boho sheik style. It's very open, which I definitely enjoyed. The staff is very friendly. We drove, so we didn't take advantage of their tasty looking brunch drink menu. My wife got a dirty matcha which was good, but had a bit too much matcha for both of our tastes, giving it a hint of bitterness. She was actually quite glad that she got the shot of espresso, as it cut the overpowering flavor of the matcha. The food was good, but left us wanting in some aspects. My wife got the gluten free avocado toast. We weren't sure if it was because of the gluten free bread, but it definitely left her a little disappointed. Honestly, for a place where the majority of the menu either comes gluten free or has a gluten free option, I was expecting more from the gluten free bread. I go the AM Asada. The pile of pinot beans, herb potatoes with queso fresco was quite tasty. However, the carne asada itself had a slight vinegar taste to it that I personally didn't care for. The portions were good for the price point. I could see other people potentially loving the dish, but the vinegar flavor just wasn't for me. Overall, we had a positive experience. I highly recommend getting there early as they do not take reservations.

This was our first and last time at this place. Pros: beautiful interior, polite staff, tasty cappuccino, beautiful presentation of dishes, mimosa. Cons: inattentive and slow service, tasteless food. They didn't bring us water even though we asked for it. When we reminded them, they only brought it to my friend. We ordered French toast and pancakes with berries and house-made cream. The toast was okay, but they forgot to bring the house-made cream and maple syrup for the pancakes. When we reminded them, they brought it when I had almost finished eating. And then it turned out they also charged an additional $2 for this cream, even though it's included in the dish. It's outrageous. We didn't bother to argue about it because we were tired of waiting for the check, dealing with a check that was also incorrect. Meanwhile, there was a line of people outside who could have been seated long ago if they had counted us sooner.

Sneaky great brunch spot on Adams Ave. Soon to be famous for their espresso martini list. My favorite is the Pistacio Espresso Martini—unreal!Been very pleased with every meal I’ve had there. High quality ingredients, everything tastes fresh. Avocados perfectly ripe.Tons of seating inside. Makes it accommodating no matter if you’re on a boozy brunch with friends, or posting up with a laptop to get work done. Rare to be able to do both.Hope to see them continue to grow and contribute to the awesome neighborhood on Adams Ave!
