Be aware: there’s apparently a policy that everyone who enters must buy something. Had some friends accompany me who were not going to drink and just wanted to be included in the hangout and they were made very uncomfortable for not getting anything. We ended up leaving because of the weird atmosphere that was created. If you're in the mood for a laid-back, no-frills dive bar experience, Triple Crown Pub in Normal Heights is the place to be. I highly recommend this spot for its diverse selection of beers, foosball and pool tables, making it an ideal destination to unwind after a long day at work. Returning to Triple Crown after the pandemic era, my close friends and I revived our beloved tradition, "Bro's, Beers, and Burritos". If you want a divey bar/pub, this is definitely guys up front are very friendly and let us know what games were sprawled around their bar. Only and beer and wine here it seems, but had no problem with that. Ample seating, fun vibe overall. There was a distinct smell all around the bar I couldn’t locate where it was, though.
