I got a salad bowl and asked for lengua as protein, it was such a generous portion that I had to take half of it home. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, their birria nachos could be split between 2-3 people, very flavorful and lots of meat.

My favorite items were the stuffed grape leaves and hummus w/ pita bread. Don't forget the Shirazi salad (chopped cucumbers & tomatoes). Enjoy!”

“I come by here at least once a week, the bread and pastries are baked fresh daily and the workers always treat you like family. It doesn't look like much from outside but it's my go-to local bakery. I would highly recommend the jalapeno bread with creme cheese, but come early because they run out often by noon.”

“In San Fernando on business. Decided to have dinner while waiting for traffic to die down a bit. Doing a search Carbon Grill sounded good. When we got there we were the only customers. Nice little place but other reviews suggested something else and parking for some reason was non existent. Had to park two blocks away! Good menu and prices were fair for these times. Food took a bit long even though it was only us. That is a good thing since it means freshly cooked. Ordered a burger, salads and fried Yucca. Good meal overall. Clean place with outdoor patio along with inside tables. Only complaint was too much plastic used for this level of dining.”

“One of the best places for authentic Salvadoran food! If you’re looking for great pupusas and a really good pan con pollo, this is definitely the spot. The pupusas were fresh, hot, and packed with flavor, and the curtido and salsa were perfect with them.
I also tried the pan con pollo and it was amazing. The chicken was tender and well seasoned, the bread was fresh, and everything tasted homemade and authentic.
The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. If you’re craving Salvadoran food or searching for the best pupusas around, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Delicious tamales y champurrado. Sometimes they have champurrado de guallaba or chocolate. I prefer their champurrado de guayaba.They make delicious beef, pork, cheese, elote and pinaple tamales. Menudo only on the weekends. You'll find Mexican candy and raspados too. You need to call early to place your order. Bring cash. Parking is hard to find on the weekend. Is a hole on wall that will pleasantly surprise you if you enjoy Mexican products.”

“This place is truly a gem. They’re so friendly over the phone and in person. I wasn’t sure what to order as I typically don’t love cake (they’re all too sweet,) and they kindly suggested their vanilla chiffon with fresh strawberry filling. It was SO GOOD. Honestly perfect balance of soft light cake and the dreamiest strawberry filling. My friends and I were all so impressed. I placed the order on a Thursday and it was ready next day. Highly recommend.”

“I stopped by this Subway this morning to get my wife her chicken noodle soup. We were already in the plaza for my wife appointment at the clinic. So when she went to her appointment, I came to this Subway to get her soup. I came in the morning so they were not busy at all. When I walked inside, I didn't see any worker so I looked at their menu. Once I started looking, a lady came from the back and greeted me. I asked her if they have any soup and she told me that they had chicken noodle soup or broccoli soup. My wife likes both but she prefer chicken noodle so I just asked for 2 orders of it. The lady asked me if I wanted cracker as well and I confirm that it came with the soup which she said it does so there no extra cost. My wife ate her soup at home and liked it.

Vegetarian options: You can customize your sandwich or salad here so I highly recommend this place for vegetarian.

Parking: There plenty of parking spots here in the plaza.

“Authentic Mexican cuisine 100%. I’ve been eating at this place for a couple years now and I gotta say, it’s the absolute best roasted chicken joint in San Fernando, hands down. This place has never disappointed me. I got the usual mix plate (half roasted chicken/ half steak) with a side of cold macaroni pasta and refried beans (frijoles puercos). Nothing else to say, I recommend this place 100%.”

“OMG my husband Ron and I just had burritos from Bros. Tacos and it was amazing. Ron had a California burrito and I had thier shrimp burritos. The flavors are amazing everything is fresh and tastes great. We also got horchata which was the best I've had in a long time. We definitely recommend this place and they were born out of the Pandemic so show them some love. You won't be disappointed.”

“Food is generally good. Ive had carnitas mostly. Recently had the barbacoa and it was a negative. People's expectations may be different but what i know as barbacoa is very tender meat slow cooked and not drenched in sauce. Its own broth maybe but not what I experienced here. Maybe it's just difference in style. Otherwise, I usually get Super Nachos with some asada or carnitas and I ask that they use the white cheese versus the nacho cheese. Everyone has their preference but they make it with nacho cheese but will accommodate if you would rather have real cheese. We'll served. Tacos, burritos and quesadillas are good. Good taco spot. Nothing spectacular but good enough to keep me going. Can get busy. But if you do eat in, you usually get some chips dressed in some tasty watery fried beans and they have some in a pot for people that dine in as well. You dont get it with take out.”

Therefore, despite my initial decision over the past year to give up on KFC altogether; I return to this particular location only.”

You can even eat your treats right outside the store in the small seating area they have. Or just make your way to the Palmas park a few blocks up.”
