“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“We love Half Baked! We discovered it, ironically enough, just months before I was diagnosed with Celiac in 2016. Luckily, they have gluten free options a plenty. Of all the gluten free bakeries nearby, they were THE most affordable for wedding cakes. We collaborated with Natalie who was with us from day one. She is wonderful - so understanding and supportive. Half Baked's execution of our vision onto 3 elegant cakes was lovely and classy. The GF spice with cream cheese was the best - our very favorite! There were some unfortunate issues with the other two cakes, but Natalie assisted us thoughtfully and ultimately provided us with an ample solution. We have loved Half Baked since we discovered them. We highly recommend them for events or anytime, especially if you need delicious gluten free options that won't break the bank!“

I liked this place because they had a lot of other dessert treats besides just ice cream. Treats like their standard ice cream cakes and bananas, but also different ones like their mango fruit bars and mini personal ice cream cakes. The service was ok. There were four employees, and it seemed that if you don't let someone help you right away, you may have to wait a bit. I think just know what you want when you get there and it should work out fine. Also, I'm not sure about your local BR, but ours does not accept the deals offered through the app on our phones. I suppose they are an independently owned BR? “Menchies menchies menchies How do I love you. I been coming here for over 10+ years and everytime I come here I get excited to see the toppings and the different flavors. My go to are: Vanilla + chocolate + original tart W/ cherries W/ nuts, walnuts, almonds and chocolate chips I been taking my kids here forever and they would always write on the chalkboard. “Well, it's Baskin-Robbins, home of the 31 flavors. I have been to this location several times and have ordered many items on the menu. The staff team are great and always provide suggestions and honest feedback on new flavors, from scoops to splits. My favorite are the milk shakes. I like to mix mine up, always trying something new. Depending on the day and the weather, there is a line doe the creamy goodies or walking right up to the counter to place an order. The place is always clean and always has the classic favorite flavors available. My drawback with most BR31 are the prices. I know prices have risen for mostly everything but a scoop of ice cream shouldn't be damn near $4. Still, this spot has fast service and plenty of the flavors I enjoy“

“I am absolutely blown away by my experience of working with Nick and his team to create my son's Pokemon themed birthday cake. From the very start, Nick was super quick to respond and took the time to not only work with me to draw out my vision, but also offered some of his own ideas and creativity which brought this project to a whole other level! He was so easy to communicate with and I appreciate him always making himself available to follow up on any thoughts or questions I had throughout! Our party was on Easter day when the bakery was closed but he was super accommodating and made sure to deliver the cake to the venue the day before. Our guests could not believe that the figurines were sculpted- everyone thought they were toys!! Most importantly, my son, who is typically difficult to impress, was absolutely in love with the finished product and couldnt wait to take it home. I think we can all agree that the photos speak for themselves!! I am so, so thankful for Nick and his incredible team at Shirin Bakery and cannot wait to work with them again in the future!
