“Went to Tarzana Cafe Bakery for the first time last week after eating at Label's Deli next door. Two things need to be addressed here. First is that the Deli next door is actually called Famous Label's Deli which is beyond ridiculous. It is not Famous. It is sub-standard, plain, and nothing special believe me. Secondly, the name of Tarzana Cafe Bakery is being confused with Tarzana Bakery. They are one and the same and confusing to people using this app. I tried to correct this using edit but it doesn't understand probably because there are several businesses in this strip mall, all with the same address of 19003 Ventura Boulevard. Anyway this Bakery seems good. We tried 2 items and they were good. The man at the front said it was Armenian but previous reviews state that it's a Persian Bakery. So who knows? I'd recommend not buying the full size Cakes, they look old and dry.“
“We can't rave enough about Kaye's Cake Designs! We had a last minute thought to get a Mother's Day custom cake made with figures of my Brother, Sister and I as kids. Kaye even included our cat. She matched the pictures we sent in perfectly and even had us wearing the exact same outfits. She is so very talented and the attention to detail was amazing. We couldn't stop looking at it. We didn't even want to eat it because the cake so was beautiful but we are glad we did. Best cake I've ever tasted. Thanks Kaye for making my Mom's Mother's Day so special! :)“

“This is a family run business. Wendy bakes out of her home and has little Bake sales on her porch. The house is quirky, with funny weird decorations on the outside- nothing that you would imagine a bakery to be. And you don't go inside the house. Order a few days ahead and remind her on the day of because she gets booked with a lot of orders . Her son brings out your order. Her cherry pies are fresh out of the oven. A thin light crust with an incredibly tasty cherry filling.“

“Who knew that a Salvadorian Bakery was something I needed in my life? Came up for some delicious baked goods and some breads and noticed they serve food as well. Looks like the pupusas are a top seller so I need to definitely try those next time.It smells so good inside and they have so many things to choose from. I got some raspberry butter cookies and some treats stuffed with an apple and raspberry custard. They also have beautiful cakes you can purchase that are premade or you can make a special order.The lady that helped me was so friendly and explained to me their top sellers.“

Not only was the cake amazing but we also had a mishap with our dog bumping the cake while it was in its packaging which damaged the corner. Although it was completely our fault, Crumbles jumped in and quickly repaired the cake for us and saved the day after much stress and anxiety about the mishap! “Their ice cream is good but I've never felt inclined to leave a review until my experience last night. I went in to order a shake for my boyfriend who hasn't been feeling well. There was a pretty large group of kids in there and a couple of their parents, maybe 12 people total. I have anxiety and ended up feeling very overwhelmed and had to step out until they all left. I went back in and tried to keep my composure but started having a bit of a panic attack. Right as I was trying to order I started crying a little bit and I apologized. The young, dark haired girl working was very compassionate and kept asking me if I needed water or anything, and kept making sure I was okay. In a moment like that where I felt so helpless (and very embarrassed), her kindness made all the difference, so thank you! Also, I asked for his shake to be made on the thicker side and it turned out perfect.“
“I got the red velvet cake (and a couple Triple Berry Cake Jars) for my sisters birthday. I had never tried Sweet Lady Jane before- but it was amazing! The cake was soft and delicious, and the frosting was not as sweet as other cakes which is perfect. I served it with some fresh strawberries (a perfect addition). The Triple Berry Cake Jars are now a favorite of the household as well. “Really kind and friendly staff which I appreciate. They let you sample some flavors since their ice cream menu is constantly changing. I appreciate that they let you sample the flavors since I can be choosy with what ice cream flavor I want. During the last visit, there was an issue with the gift card we had and the staff member was kind enough to see what the issue was and called (over the phone) the manager/owner in order to fix the issue. The store is small inside but there is plenty of seating outside. Also plenty of parking as it is located in the central part of the shopping center. Definitely recommend if you are looking for ice cream around the West Hills area.“
