the taste and price are good, but be wary of cross-contamination if you're allergic to peanuts or tree nuts.

Best California fusion açaí! What really stands out to me about this açaí spot is that they offer black sesame butter as a topping. Black sesame is one of my favourite flavours, and it pairs so well with all the bases. Each build-your-own bowl is set at a fixed price based on size, and toppings are unlimited, so it's a great value.Everything from parking to ordering and enjoying the açaí is super easy. There's plenty of metered street parking along Ocean Ave, and I've often been able to park very close. You can order online or in person at their in-store kiosk. They have plenty of indoor seating in case you want to "dine in", and the place receives lots of sunlight, so it's a great space to hang out.Below is my go-to order that got me hooked on Açaí R:Bases- 100% organic açaí (new and/or original)- organic flamingo chia pudding- blue spirulinaFruits- blueberries- pineappleGranola- French vanillaButter- black sesame butterToppings- coconut flakes- toasted coconut flakes- goji berriesNatural Sweetener- none, but I've gotten light agave sweetener at other açaí places and liked itPowder- none

Best acai bowls in San Francisco - this spot has become a regular for us, highly recommend! Fresh ingredients and delicious acai blend that tastes authentic, not too sweet, and not blended with bananas like most other places out there.

One of the best açaís in the city. Good selection of flavors and toppings. Dried mulberries are the only other toppings I wish they had.

Came here for breakfast. They have unlimited options for the bowls. It is a flat rate for the size and you can load up the base with any and all toppings you like. Awesome selection and super tasty. Wish we had one is SLC.

First time ever trying acai bowls. Actually it's not bad. It tastes great & feels healthy. The acai porridge like is good. The place is bright and clean. 9/10 would have it again.

Açaí R needs to open in Denver please! Visiting SF, stumbled into this açaí joint and was blown away by how much better a simple bowl of açaí was at this place over the usual places I've had in Denver and elsewhere. From the consistency and balance of the açaí to the generous fresh fruits and other toppings, this was top rate.Don't get me wrong, there are other good açaí places, but those are just average compared to this place. You just have to try for yourself.

Absolutely love Acai R. Their new and original acai bases are the perfect sorbet-y texture and are not icy at all. The flavor does not taste too diluted, either. I typically get a combo of the new, original, + chia seed pudding or another base to mix things up. You can't customize the amount of base you get so that's why I get both original + new. One great thing about this place is that the toppings are unlimited!! I always go wild with the toppings and the workers are always able to make it all fit. There's a good variety of fruits and dried toppings... if they offered milk powder like at Deep Purpl that would make this place perfect. I noticed that they layer the granola between the bases if you get a medium/large and I love how it allows for a change in texture when you get deeper into the acai bowl. The best bases are obviously the acai, but other great ones to try include any of the chia puddings and charcoal. I would skip the spirulina one and the pitaya can be too sweet. Also- I would skip the savory toast that comes with the egg. It just has a cold boiled egg on top and the avocado doesn't taste very fresh. Just stick to the acai! it would be nice to have more transparency on the ingredients, especially for the granola. My boyfriend has a buckwheat allergy so he's always wary of adding any granolas his acai bowls. The espresso drinks here are also amazing, I have had the espresso fizz and it's delicious, on par with Andytown. It's on the sweeter side tho so just a warning! As for the interior, I am really not a fan of the white furniture as it's all kind of stained... I feel like warm-toned wood furniture would fit with the vibe more and would also hide dirt stains better lol. I do appreciate the large tables with outlets- I've come in and worked on my laptop while slowly hacking away at my acai.I hope this shop can open a second location again! I would love to have it as an option when i'm closer to the middle/northern part of sf.

My daughter is an ice cream and açaí fiend and she says this place has the best açaí bowl in the city. Instead of a runny consistency, this açaí is solid! Order on the screen, wait for your number and pick-up. Pretty straightforward. Nice clean well-lit place near City College.

We love it here! The acai has great texture and it's been consistent the last few times we've been there. The fruits and toppings are always fresh and tasty. The bowls are made nicely. We build our own bowls and they are made in a timely manner. Also tried the matcha latte (with oatmilk) for the first time today and it was pretty good. Not sweet and strong ceremonial matcha flavor. Clean atmosphere; friendly staff.
