If I ever need HK comfort food, I know where to go in the Ingleside. I ordered a salted egg yolk fried rice with shrimp and it just hit the spot. A little on the salty side but I did order a salted egg yolk fried rice after all. This is the most authentic HK cafe on the peninsula. From milk tea, baked rice with meat to French toast. The food tastes exactly the way HK style cafe should be. I'm surprised they have baked beef tongue in red sauce on rice. The beef tongue is cooked perfectly.

It's Hong Kong diner food. The food is delicious, the service is pretty standard, and the ambience is your standard diner atmosphere. I always get the baked rice dishes and they hit the spot
