This is such a great place to grab lunch. I work from home and usually eat leftovers but there are times when there is no leftovers and I like to walk over to AK subs. I usually get the Philly cheesesteak and it just warms the soul. The price for the subs here is great and this place has a lot of regulars that keep on coming because of the subs and prices. There were lots of negative reviews about it location and car break-ins. I go by there 3-4 times a week and never see any problems. Didn't have any probs when I went there. The sandwiches were awesome. I will go back.Parking: They only have 3-4 stalls on the premises, but there is street parking.

places like this are what makes San Francisco so great. totally unassuming from the street, but very clean and tons of seating options, both inside and out. Service was genuine and welcoming.
