There was a 1 hr wait even at 8:30pm on a rainy Saturday night because there's pretty limited seating inside, but I'm so glad I was able to try this cute Japanese-European fusion restaurant in Mission! - Mentaiko spaghetti: this was definitely my favorite out of the food we ordered! The pasta was a perfect al dente, and the seafood-y Mentaiko sauce was creamy and flavorful and there was just enough to not be too heavy, it left me craving more - Champignon pasta: this was a lot...read full review
Yesterday I got to try a restaurant that has been on my list for a while! bon, nene is a little Japanese restaurant in the Mission district of SF. Amazing restaurant! Prices are great, so that you can try a few dishes in 1 visit. I tried the maguro bowl and champignon mushroom pasta. The maguro bowl was okay. I felt like more soy sauce on the tuna would've been better. The champignon pasta was amazing--smoky and perfectly seasoned! On a weeknight, they only have 2 servers serving ~20-25 people during rush dinner time. Service will be a bit slow, but all the more to tip each server more.
