Been going to Cafe 550 for a bit and as a lover of sandwiches I REALLY love this spot. The proprietor is super friendly and takes pride in his craftsmanship. I've only got the Californian since it was the first sandwich I got and loved it so much I just keep ordering it. Great value here too for a nice big and tasty sandwich! For reference other sandwich spots I like are DeliBoard, Rhea's, Turner's Kitchen and Submarine Center so if you enjoy any of those spots you'll love Cafe 550 too!

Most perfect sandwiches they are not only delicious but look like a work of art. No frills on the inside exactly how a sandwich place should be. We got the Roast Beef and Tuna both delicious highly recommend.

This has to be the best deli in San Francisco if not the Bay Area. Everything is super fresh and delicious. It's hard to find a good deli but here's where the search stops. Great service and very comfortable seating area to relax and eat lunch. Must try!!!!

I'm a lover of sandwiches and regularly hit up Deliboard, Ted's, Valencia Subs, Turner's Kitchen and Rhea's Market and finally made it to Cafe 550 since I was coming back from Dogpatch for a change. This spot is awesome - right from the moment I walked in and was welcomed. I got the Californian which they mentioned was the top seller and man it was fantastic. Nice spice to it and I got it on Dutch crunch bread and it's filled with quality ingredients and goes so well together! Very filling and solidly priced - definitely gonna be in my rotation now - go support this spot!

Best sandwiches in the Design District/Potrero Hill area! The shop is clean and the staff are passionate about making a great sandwich. I'm a big fan of the chipotle chicken sandwich. The chipotle sauce has just the right amount of heat. I really appreciate how they toast the bread just right. Can't beat the price either. This spot is a gem.

One of the best sandwiches I've hand in a while. Located on first floor of a corporate business, very clean on the inside and newly remodeled. lots of options and staff was knowledgeable and super helpful. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. Sandwiches are good size enough for me to split and eat later.
