This place is amazing! The atmosphere is inviting, the desserts are delicious, and the coffee is hands down one of the best I’ve had in town. Without a doubt, Cavalli is now my top spot in North Beach. If you’re in the area, it’s a must-visit.

Love these guys!! Open late. Huge menu and outdoor seating. Fair prices. Perfect if you were in the neighborhood drinking yourself silly. You can take a break from that. Just because its St Patricks day doesn't mean you have to drink nonstop from morning till night. Perfect Tiramisu. Very nice flavor, light as air and had this perfect dusting of chocolate on top - done right before it was served. Usually this stuff is too sweet but not here. Its made in house and its made right. Paste Di Mandorle... thats to die for. What more can I say? There is so much more on the menu than dessert and coffee - but probably one of the best bets is to come here after dinner at Flour and Water or the other popular restaurants. On St. Patricks day the patio was buzzing with patrons super late night enjoying the warm weather. Perfect place to have a smoke. Nice vibe of happy people. Prices are reasonable. You can get many different cookies for a dollar. The kiss tiny circle ones, butter cookies, almond cookies - usually these things are weighed and costs more in the end I think. I feel like I've exhausted most all the bakeries in North Beach. This one has its place as being open the latest and having reasonable prices.

Best tiramisu I've had from North Beach! I liked the one here better than caffe greco or stella pastry. Those tiramisus felt a bit too heavy on the cocoa powder dusting on top, which makes them a bit too bitter for me, but the tiramisu here was the perfect amount of cocoa and not bitter at all! It's lightly sweet but not overly, so perfect if you don't like your desserts too sugary or heavy. It was so creamy and light, and also a very generous portion. Would definitely come back and try their cannolis!

Cavalli Cafe is an extremely charming cafe located near Little Italy. I tried the cappucino and it was delicious. I have heard the tiramisu is divine, and will have to try it for myself when I return. The seating is what really drew Cavalli apart. It's a two-story cafe where the second story has barstools that face windows. It gives a sweet view of Coit Tower, and is a really nice spot to pass time and watch cars/people pass by. There are also numerous tables on both stories. The cafe has a whole calming vibe and would make it a nice place to study, read, or catch up with friends.

Came for the canoli, but was just ok. Lady behind counter was great. Enjoyed a coffee and a seat before moving on in the city.

We went for a walk in Little Italy and stumbled upon Cavalli Cafe. We ordered cannolis and the tiramisu. The person behind the counter was very nice and the place was bright and looked recently renovated. Lots of people hanging out upstairs and down so we thought it must be good. There was fresh mint water and the tiramisu was delicious!

I’m not much of a coffee drinker but their latte with soy tasted great. I usually add sugar but this didn’t need it.

My first time in here exploring the area. I've been a barista over many years in the past so trying coffee is my favorite go to anywhere.8$ with tip for an oat milk latte. I'm not sure what brand it was , but it was sweet it tasted extra frothy not creamy. I don't put sugar in my drinks so I can taste what I'm drinking. I'm sure the drip would be fine. Not sure what was happening in my cup but I ended up pouring it out. Not even the warmth from the drink could make me want to keep it. It took away from the espressoMaybe try a different oat milk. It was not very good.I always give 2nd chances. If you want suggestions for oatmilk, the barista brands of Oatly steam very well.

This review is strictly for the cannolis! If I want to impress upon an out of towner that SF has amazing Italian cannoli's, I take them here. No doubt the best cannoli I've tried in SF. They make them fresh when ordered, on one end put pistachios and chocolate chips on the other. A candied orange on the middle, and viola! What a hidden gem.

The tiramisu is delicious. Definitely on the less sweet side, so if you want something super sweet, you may want to go somewhere else. The vibe here is weird. The Spanish dance music doesn't fit with the Italian pastries and cappuccino. It really made the experience less great. The location is good for people watching, but the bus stops right in front. Lacks the quiet Italian cafe vibe.

Came here last morning of a two day visit to SF. Husband is of Sicilian decent so wanted to visit little Italy. Based on reviews we tried the cannoli. Although truly delicious, when we midsectioned the cannoli we found that the counter person did not take proper care to fill it completely, a decidedly lapse of commitment to perfection.

One of the best cafes I had the pleasure of visiting. Some of the best and delightful pastries. I recommend Cavailli for a quick stop and go.
