Was fortunate enough to try a variety of dishes. None were disappointing, but particularly enjoyed the laksa and the puff curry appy dish. The laksa was not traditional, in that the soup wasn't very creamy or rich but still enjoyed it very much.

Came here for vegan tasting menu restaurant week- last Sunday. 2 pax. We are both born and raised in Malaysia. Lived here for half our lives, we visit Malaysia at least once a year. So we know Malaysian food. The tasting menu is a disappointment. The only dish that we think represented the flavor of Malaysia is the main course- even that was too salty. The tasting menu is more of a fusion creative Asian food. Not sure of their regular menu, but if they cannot execute the tasting menu, we do not have confident nor interested to try.Not a single smile from the servers or even the owner, when she came to our table to excuse herself to open the blinds behind my seat. When we arrived, only 3 tables, including ours.Reasonable priced ($150 + tips for 2) but the worse tasting menu we ever had.

AWFUL ? Just awful!Food: $25 for this small, overpriced noodles bowl? I can’t accept you can taste the smell of chicken in it. The authentic Laksa broth should leverage the chicken flavor to another level.Tofu was undercooked. The rice noodles were so soft! Bad texture!Service: They asked me if I’m ready for ordering when I was drinking and they asked me if the noodles were good when I was literally eating the noodles! Not considerate at all??When I asked if I can leave feedback anywhere, maybe in the receipt… they say “you have to pay first.” Hello????!!!!I AM SO DISAPPOINTED ☹️

Everyone in this restaurant on the night we dined in, were foreign . We didn't see any locals dine in so this already should have been an indication . Atmosphere is not too bad and service is ok but the curry and assam laksa dishes were not authentic enough . Noodles used for both were the same . There is also no char kway teow or roti canai . My brother had the rendang rice which was ok but the sambal was not spicy enough either . I would look for other Malaysian restaurants to dine in if I missed home !

Small and cute Malaysian joint in the city of San Francisco. Friendly for dietary restrictions and tasted very authentic too. Definitely worth a visit. Service is super nice too.

We came here on a week night early in the evening. We made a res but they take walk ins and not too busy at the time. The inside is cute, clean, nothing too fancy, and feel relaxed. We got seated right away and ordered a couple small plates and entrees. We started with the garlic chips, curry puff set, and popiah. The garlic chips were delicious and addicting. Not too strong on flavor but nice and crisp and light. I really like the popiah for something new and different. It was flavorful and something unique that I'd get again. The curry puff was good but didn't feel like a standout. The best part was the light pastry crust. It had plenty of filling and the sauce was good. We got the laksa soup and beef rendang for entrees. The laksa had good flavor, portion size, and liked that it had multiple proteins in it. The beef rendang was good too. The meat was flavorful, really tender, and like the blue coconut rice. I enjoyed trying this restaurant for some more Malaysian food as there's not a lot of options in SF.

One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in San Francisco in 2023. We have been here for brunch and dinner. All the food is house made and you can taste the care and intention behind everything. Love the Rendang & Nasi Lemak. The handmade laminated curry puffs are *BETTER* than the ones I've had in famed Singaporean hawker stalls. Restaurant has a lovely open kitchen and seating feels comfortable. I'm excited to see Chef Tracy always making an effort to put specials on the menu. Not an easy feat!!

Prompt and kind service, cozy ambiance, excellent food, and well-priced!! We tried the Beef Rendang, Babi Keluak, Kerupuk, Laksa, and Kaya Fried Bread snack for dessert. True Malaysian flavors with modern presentation, This is a Gem in SF, and highly recommended.

Food is good but the hidden fees are terrible. They stick you with a random 20 or so percentage charge on the bill and then expect a tip on top of that.

I was really optimistic about this place being good. After traveling SE Asia and Malaysia I was excited to find this Malaysian place in the city. I got the Nasai Lemak and was underwhelmed by the flavor and spice levels. The inside of the rest was clean and put together and the staff was attentive. I just wish the food was better.

Delicious, cozy ambiance, and kind service! :) I'm absolutely coming back to try the crab everyone was munching on, with a fun little bib on. I also want to try the popiah!!! The asam laksa & kaya bread was mind blowing!!! And as a curry puff fanatic/Singaporean, I'd say it was pretty authentic. Nasi lemak chicken was solid but the sambal chili was lacking in my opinion. More expensive than I was expecting but a solid spot.
