We came here on a week night early in the evening. We made a res but they take walk ins and not too busy at the time. The inside is cute, clean, nothing too fancy, and feel relaxed. We got seated right away and ordered a couple small plates and entrees. We started with the garlic chips, curry puff set, and popiah. The garlic chips were delicious and addicting. One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in San Francisco in 2023. We have been here for brunch and dinner. All the food is house made and you can taste the care and intention behind everything. Love the Rendang & Nasi Lemak. The handmade laminated curry puffs are *BETTER* than the ones I've had in famed Singaporean hawker stalls. Prompt and kind service, cozy ambiance, excellent food, and well-priced!! We tried the Beef Rendang, Babi Keluak, Kerupuk, Laksa, and Kaya Fried Bread snack for dessert. True Malaysian flavors with modern presentation, This is a Gem in SF, and highly recommended.
