I want to give this place a 4.4 starts (I can't select fractional stars on google). Simple good customer service stands out the most. Place is homey, maybe I'd like it a little more modern sometimes, but it wasn't a deal breaker, I would come back for a casual drink. I'd probably come here a lot on Fridays if I lived closer though. Good selection on tap. I didn't eat any food so I can't rate it.

I go here pretty regularly after the gym for a Nashvilled fried chicken sandwich and a beer and they're amazing! The chicken sandwich is fried to perfection and really tasty (and the portions are very generous). The beers are local and always changing, and you can taste before you buy. They also have many TVs with SF and other national sports on.

Very good wings! They even have some impossible nuggets for vegans/vegetarians. Nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.

Kid-friendliness: There were a few tables with children occupied by the big TVs :)

My favorite chicken strips in the city! Lots of flavors, great taste and super reasonable pricing.

I tried calling just now to leave feedback but no answer so thought I'd try here. Wings and tenders are always solid but the last three times we ordered fries they were seriously undercooked even though outside color was good. Wish I had said something sooner.

There's a unique world of Fried Chicken that exists within the San Francisco city walls. It's diverse in its many cultural offerings and unique styles and presentations. Instead of trying to recount all the fried chicken offerings I found in SF, I will just cut to the chase and tell you Foghorn Taproom is at the very top of any fried chicken list in SF. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, chicken tenders tossed in maple bourbon and fries. Got the comeback sauce and cilantro ranch for dipping too. The chicken sandwich goes toe to toe with any in the city. Dare I say the best? The tenders are a nice size but really it was elevated by that maple Bourbon sauce. That's a high level sauce. You could toss my shoe in that sauce and I'd be pretty happy. There are several other things I want to try here. But it's not hard for me to conclude that when it comes to fried chicken that Foghorn Taproom leads the way in San Francisco. Ps. Is "Foghorn" some sort of reference to the cartoon rooster Foghorn Leghorn? Can't just be a coincidence. Let me know. Thanks.(4.8 Stars)

Great place to watch sports ! It's pretty small tho so either come early or be prepared to sit outside. They do have tvs outside too but idk how it looks when the sun is out. I got the fried chicken sandwich which is $13 for just the sandwich. Kinda pricey. My sandwich was dry. It has coleslaw inside but it needs some type of sauce or something. The beers are around $8-9 each so kinda pricey. Service is quick. There's one bartender in front who does the register and the drinks.

Decent, not worth going out of your way. Underseasoned chicken sandwich, undercooked fries and an overall underwhelming experience added only by the feeling of being nickel and dimed for every little thing. Best sandwich is SF? Not even close, do better SF.
