We dropped into Gambino’s for lunch on Friday because we were going to the Exploratorium. We just needed to eat before our adventure and we found this place on the corner and decided to try it. The food is absolutely top notch for a little sandwich place. Like real Italian sandwiches and pasta. I ordered the Eggplant parm and Ooo Boy! Totally Heaven. The others had a Reuben, cheesesteak, and The Gentleman's sandwich which they all raved about. We are a bunch of tough critics when it comes to food and it’s my pleasure to say to anyone considering a lunch in San Francisco…Just go to Gambino’s, you won’t be disappointed.

First time in San Francisco and I decided to visit this place. I ordered an egg burrito and let me tell you, it was so delicious. The best egg burrito I’ve had. Would recommend !!

I go here every time I go to San Francisco. Ramses is the kind of owner that makes his place feel like you're sitting down with old friends and family. Every time I go, it's like I was just there the day before. If it weren't for the travel time, I would go at least every other day. Amazing food, even better service.

Got the gentleman sub and absolutely loved it, family that came with also loved their sandwiches. Its quick, easy, tasty, has good portions, and is fairly priced. Would definitely recommend if you want a nice and quick lunch when in the area.

Delicious, reasonable prices, and huge portions. The Gentleman's Sub had the perfect balance of condiments to meat/ cheese. The Chipotle Turkey had a surprising kick. Garlic fries... perfection! We'll be back

Good subs with good styles to choose from. They're also very flexible with custom preferences for your sub

Great place to get a sandwich in the area. There are a number of sandwiches to choose from too which is always nice to have the variety. They also have everything at a reasonable price which is hard to come by in this area. You don't have to wait a long time to get your food. Yes, there is a typically a long line but it moves super fast. Give this place a try, 4 stars!

It's pretty Californiaized but it's still darn good.

Place was ok but just kind of boring. Very basic sandwiches on very boring rolls. Kind of a waste of Boars head meats in my opinion.

The service was absolutely amazing, very insightful about the menu and personable to modified orders. Very helpful and good energy from Justin! He was super nice. I would definitely come back and recommend!

Great spot if you are looking for a sandwich or breakfast item. I enjoy their bagels and just tried a breakfast burrito which was one of the better ones I have had in the city. The sandwiches are very big. Food is always cooked to order and comes out hot. Service is friendly. I will continue to come back and try the rest of their pretty large menu. I would recommend this spot if you are in the area during the week.
