This was my first visit. They had all my favorites usually purchased at Whole Foods, but cheaper. The line was long but moved very swiftly and the customer service was good. I will definitely be supporting this community market.

A local market filled with organic products. Their produce section is fresh and colorful. Everything is well organized and easy to find. Their salad bar has some great take-out options.

February 23rd: I went to Gus’s to buy a small coconut cheesecake, a sushi, a Red Bull sugar free energy drink, a fruit juice, and a salted caramel latte for my dinner today. I have been a regular customer of Gus’s since I lived in San Francisco, so what I bought today should have been just routine, same, good decent quality of food and service as usual. However, when I went to a cashier’s counter to pay for my items, a male cashier dropped a coconut cheesecake container on my green Gus’s shopping basket, which opened a container cover and and spilled whole cheesecake over my basket. Fortunately, a cake spill was not on my clothes or shoes, and a male cashier asked me to bring a new coconut cheesecake, which I did. And I saw a male cashier grabbing a cheesecake spill with his bare hands, putting it back inside a container, and throwing it into a garbage can. I am not sure if he made out my bill with his bare hands, which he used to grab a cheesecake, and I am not sure if he cleaned a green shopping basket I used afterwards, since I left Gus’s right after I paid all my items. But what happened today disappointed me, since when I regularly went to Gus’s, I never doubted Gus’s cleanliness and highly satisfactory customer experience. I just hope what happened today will not affect my overall impression of Gus’s, which has been satisfactory so far.February 24th: I spoke with Gus’s manager today, and I learned that a green shopping basket I used yesterday evening has been cleaned afterwards. I really appreciate Gus’s thorough and timely cleaning and great management.

Love the Cirque Du Soleil show!

Over priced and very tight spaces to get anywhere in the store. There isn't another store close so people are stuck going there.

Great choices, narrow aisles. It was really crowded at lunchtime, but plenty of cashiers were working to move the checkout line along.

During a recent visit to Gus's, I encountered a significant pricing discrepancy that needs attention. A product marked at $4.99 was charged at nearly $20 at checkout, and Gus's did not honor the labeled price. This incident raises concerns about their pricing practices.I usually don't scrutinize my receipts, but this experience has been eye-opening. It's worrying to think that I might have been overcharged previously without noticing.I recommend that shoppers at Gus's double-check the prices of items both on the shelf and at the register. This seems essential to avoid paying more than expected. In summary, while Gus's offers a range of products, their approach to pricing and handling errors is a major drawback. Customers should be vigilant and verify prices to prevent similar experiences.

A very nice store with friendly employees. Very clean. However, if you want to buy anything that is Gus’s pre-made meal, don’t. I bought a couple chicken noodle soups (7$ each so pretty expensive especially for the size). They had maybe a single chunk of carrot in each, the rest was just broth. 7$ for broth is insane. Misrepresentation if a product to the max.

I should give zero stars. We spent lots of money for this chestnut. No one is good they are probably two years old. Very hard even when raw. Very disappointed and I want my money back.. they should have never sold them. This is taking joke of people, their money and their time

I've been to this location multiple times over the past years and I've always been impressed by the service, cleanliness and selection at this location. Like most grocery stores in SF the aisles are a bit tight but they are well stocked with unique and common items for your everyday needs. I came here most recently to get some sandwiches for lunch and they were exceptional.

Today I embarked on a swift lunch at Guss's Market, a cool atmosphere all around, I opted out for the Roast Beef on Dutch crunch with everything on it, toasted. However, the experience fell short when the anticipated warmth was missing; the meat, disappointingly cold, and the bread alone radiating heat. Unwrapping revealed a sandwich now chilled, with the veggies and meat struggling to maintain their temperature. The chewiness of the roast beef left me feeling like I was battling with gum rather than savoring a satisfying meal.Despite this encounter, I remain optimistic, attributing the setback to a single choice of meat. The commendable service and diverse menu offerings at Guss's Market encourage me to explore other options on subsequent visits. Today's disappointment with the roast beef shouldn't overshadow the potential within their various choices. For those drawn to variety and great service, Guss's Market merits another chance. It's an establishment with promise, and my journey through their menu will undoubtedly continue.

They have the most delicious sandwiches, The Quake on Dutch Crunch is so good! They have a huge variety of goods to purchase but the store itself is very tight and the employees seem to not like their customers. They roll their eyes and huff their disappointment at everyone within reach.

Great spot, excellent selection of fresh and prepared food, but a little pricey.
