THE Best Chinese food and Chinese experience in San Francisco. Large space for large parties and events. Super friendly staff. A great location for professional company lunches and dinners as well as a couple's night out. Make sure to try Dim Sum, the duck there and the cocktails are great.

Highly recommend their chow mien, and pan fried dumplings. Serving size is a healthy amount and fairly priced. That pretty much sums up on how I enjoyed my meal each time.Overall, they deserve 5 stars! We'll definitely be back!

I feel really sad when I heard that they are permanently closing their San Francisco branch. Such a waste.

This restaurant is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to that place. Whenever I feel like having a proper lunchon, this place comes straightaway to my mind. outstanding and varied food and a large list of dishes.helpful staff, and great mood. Also, the tariff is fair. I sent my friends to this spot with pleasure.

I made my first visit to San Francisco. I heard that there is a famous restaurant in Chinese town. This is where former President Obama visited. There were many Chinese people. It is divided into the first and second floors. There is a guest restroom on the first floor. The food was delicious and I felt like I came to China.

What a great experience! I was treated to a fantastic and interesting family style meal. The fish was amazing. Also tried jellyfish for the first time. Moo shu pork, Peking duck, chow mein, pork, chicken. ..on and on. Great service too

Sad they're closed! But they had the best dim sums- both sweet and savory! And absolutely delicious macaroons- perfect balance of crunch and chewiness, and you don't have to be in Paris!

A wonderful dining experience....torn between 4-5 stars. Conveniently located walking distance from Union Square. Food was the main draw of course, and we were not disappointed. Our feast for two, spread out over many courses, and several glasses of wine included the Shang Dumplings, $15; Spicy Prawns, $27; Champagne Cod, $41; Pak Choi, $12; and Hakka Noodles, $15. Two desserts: Cherry Mouse & Coconut Lychee. Total for 2 was $200++. Very enjoyable, and would be willing to return,

(02-06-20) For dinner, we had reservations at Hakkasan. We had heard about this dining establishment so we thought we would check it out. My nephew recommended this place so we were looking forward to the experience. I would describe this restaurant as contemporary Chinese cuisine offering dim sum dishes as well as a contemporary spin on traditional Chinese dishes. We started with sparkling wine and ordered the Hakka dim sum basket (featuring scallop siu mai, Chinese chive, har gau, and braised duck dumpling); Szechuan Mabo tofu with minced beef; Chinese long beans; Hakka noodles; and we believe the Black Pepper Angus Beef Ribeye. For dessert we enjoyed hot tea with a sampling of gelatos. Every single dish was so flavorful and enjoyable. Service was excellent as they ensured a smooth service always making sure our water glasses were filled. A very nice dining experience!

A very high end restaurant with tasty chinese/asian food. Although the food is delicious, I personally don't think it is worth spending the amount of money you have to spend to be full. Nice for a celebratory meal!

Classy restaurant with great food for sharing. the highlight were the mantou buns with lamb. The chocolate-filled dumplings (see picture) were also tasty and looked very good on the plate.

My group of four arrived at Hakkadan for an after-hours company get-together. It's a Cantonese fine dining restaurant with ultimate seating with delicious food. The price can be high for lots of people, but it's so worth it. If you love duck meat like me, this is the place for it. Seafood like jumbo shrimp is excellent, too. It's worth trying to experience for lots of people.

One of the best Chinese meals I have ever had. Simple, perfect and delicious. I had the lunch special with hot and sour soup, ribeye and rice! The cocktails were great as well!
