This place is a turkish gem. I'm allergic to dairy but if I wasn't I'd be all over the baked goods covered in rose petals and pistachios. Would recommend the pistachio iced latte. So good!

Lovely coffee shop along van ness! The barista was very friendly and the shop itself was clean with good wifi. There was less power outlets than I expected. The coffee itself was also a good, pretty standard. I liked the glassware that they provided as well.

Someone recommended this place, so I gave them a try -- delightful! They have some wonderful options that are well worth trying. It can take a minute for the order to be completed, but it's worth the wait to try something original and more interesting than what most coffee shops offer.

Friendly staff, amazing pastries, and really good coffee that embraces another coffee culture. What more could you ask for in a cafe?

Delicious middle eastern pastries and coffee related sundry in a generously large and well-appointed cafe. Lots of options to choose from beyond just coffee too.Service itself was very good and relatively fast, but the poor guy was struggling entirely alone as both barista and cashier juggling a vast menu chalk full of complicated (but delicious) drinks in addition to a line out the door. I’m not sure why they’d only have one person working the front during a weekend lunch rush.

Wonderful coffee shop. Even though it was packed with only two people taking orders, they managed to give us great tea/coffee. Ambiance is nice and lively. Will definitely go there next time I'm in SF!

I'm trying to understand how a croissant and a latte racked up to $20. Literally won't set foot here ever again.

My friend recommended we hit up this coffee spot after getting brunch in the same area. I was super excited try Yemeni coffee since I have had it before. Upon entering, the coffee shop is super cozy. There is quite a bit of seating but the space is pretty small. I can see it getting filled up pretty quickly with coffee dates and people studying so that's something to be aware of. I got the pistachio latte and it was okay, it was lacking in pistachio flavor, I probably would try something else next time since they have a wide selections of other delicious sounding drinks. I also tried the haraz latte with oatmilk which was okay. We ordered a slice of the baklava cake and that was delicious. I would definitely love to try their other baked goods. Parking: street parking, we ended up parking at a parking garage and walked 10 minutes to get there. At one point it seemed like our cashier was impatient when we were ordering and it kinda came off as rude. This left a bit of a bitter taste after we ordered. It may have been because they were busy but I think it's still important to be respectful and kind to customers. Overall, if its convenient for me, I would come back to try something new but I wouldn't make this place a necessity to go to.

It's a nice space and it's great they are open late. Drinks were good too. They are more expensive than other places but even that was fine. But my minimal expectation of coffee places is that people are at least welcoming. Staff wasn't friendly or accommodating and seemed annoyed about questions about drinks--many of which aren't found at other cafes so questions seem reasonable. Drinks came out in paper cups. We asked for ceramic cups since we were going to be sitting there. The person making the drinks acted annoyed and said the coffee would not look good in a ceramic mug (?!) and said that nobody had told him that the drinks were not to go and asked if I was asking him to remake the drink. I pointed out that the unfriendly lady at the counter had not asked us if we were wanting the drinks for there or to go. Silly interaction.

loved the variety of seating they had! i got their first coffee on the menu and was pleasantly delighted by the balance between the cardamom and coffee flavor. i was afraid that one would overpower the other, but they're in near perfect balance.
