Absolutely loved the Crispy Chicken Fried Rice! The chicken was crunchy and paired well with the fried rice. The price for the quantity was also great compared to other Thai restaurants I've had in the city. Ordering is quick and easy: just order at the front and they'll bring your food out to you. Note that it is a small place so may not be the easiest place to eat for large groups, but I did go with a larger group so it's definitely possible.
This place is a neighborhood. GEM don't sleep on this small, quaint, casual restaurant service is fantastic courteous and accommodating. The food is fantastic. We had the mango salad with shrimp, garlic noodles with pork crab fried rice and the Thai basil chicken all were fantastic and served with such large portions. I will stop by anytime I'm in the neighborhood which is often, thank you Hippie Thai for a great afternoon lunch

I loved this place and want to try so many things on the menu... First of all, its very cute! I love the atmosphere and vibes and decor. It really reminded me of little street food spots in Bangkok! I loved everything about it. Very warm and cozy feeling. The service was great- they were helpful and attentive. The FOOD though!! Everything on the menu looked amazing but I went with the Kua Noodles with pork. I loved it and would absolutely recommend. Definitely coming back here!!...read full review
