The restaurant changed its name. There was always pizza here. I decided to get lemon pepper crispy wings and a slice of cake. It was a good snack later in the day. In North Beach on the way.

Okay I only stopped in a few shots and a couple glasses of wine deep for a slice of pizza late night but honestly that slice hit so hard, delicious with a nice oily gristle to it and the perfect size to fold in half and go to town. The guys working here were friendly too. Thanks

I had Jamra bookmarked due to the high ratings, but unfortunately, it fell short in my book. You go up to the cashier and order your food. Then they bring it to you when it's ready. It's not a fancy or a hipster spot, but a more kid-friendly type of establishment. I ordered a pesto special pizza (pesto sauce, chicken, spinach & feta cheese), and my bf ordered a kufta kebab sandwich (1 skewer of kufta kebab, onion, tomato and garlic sauce). Sadly, both were kind of disappointing. Their pizza was not old school pizza, trendy pizza, or a crunchy type of pizza, but it tasted more bready/doughy. I've had some pizzas that were chewy as well, but this didn't have that texture either. Maybe if it had more sauce and was baked longer, it would have been better. The sandwich didn't come with lettuce or pickles and tasted plain even with their garlic sauce. And their bread wasn't toasted enough to give it that crunch. I think simply toasting bread or the roll makes a huge difference in taste and texture and would make it so much better. Pesto Pizza 3/5 Kufta Kebab Sandwich 2/5 I wish I could have given a better rating since it seemed like others enjoyed their pizza. Maybe we came at an off night.

Open late, which is why we came in. Ordered a few slices. The service was friendly and quick! The pizza itself was a solid experience. The establishment was surprisingly clean for being a late night place. I'd definitely come back again.
