This is our neighborhood gem where we go to get our ramen fix. Yup! We always start with the honey fried chicken appetizer and a bowl of hot ramen. It's total comfort food and yummy for the tummy. We LOVE their happy hour. Keep the sake flowing! The service is beyond awesome. Everyone is always so kind and attentive here. The atmosphere is informal and the food is delicious. We are never disappointed at Jijime. Check it out. You will not be disappointed.

I guess you have eat their fried chicken at the restaurant to eat it crispy. Despite the container being open as to not let the steam mush up the crispy batter, my 10 minute walk home destroyed it. The chicken was not very garlicky and the batter was soggy. I prob wouldn't order the chicken take out any more if at all. The person taking the order on the phone should be a little more pleasant. After I placed the order for $13.00 chicken appetizer, she asked "is that all?" Come on, with taxes, your seven pieces of soggy battered chicken ended up costing over $15.00. I might think twice before coming back when Han Il Kwan is one block from me.

Really yummy!! I love their bibimbap, kaki fry, croquettes, and awayuki sake. The pork belly baos were okay, and I would order again. I need to try more of their food. I crave it on my days off, and order it pretty much once a week. It's even more delicious and amazing when you go into the restaurant. Some items are served sizzling hot.

Everything is amazing here -- ramen, sizzling bibimbap, and the small plates. Try the popcorn potstickers and popcorn salmon.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Drinks and food were timely and brought out in a good order. Soju was beyond amazing-lychee and strawberry are the way to go!

I got the gyoza ramen. They don't skimp on any of the ingredients and it came with 8 bite-size gyozas. The portion of the noodles is also generous. I didn't love the texture of the noodles though. They sell a lot of Korean soju bar eats for a reasonable price. It's almost half the price of some bar snacks in the south bay. I really liked the fried seaweed roll! Lots of alcohol options, sake jelly drinks, etc. and have a happy hour on weekdays. The place has a good vibe for drinking with a group of friends.

We just ordered the chocolate tartufo, soy garlic chicken, and okonomiyaki fries.Their fresh kimchi was great and so were the flavors but I wish that the okonomiyaki fries actually had the egg with fillings. It is just shaved bonito and nori with mayo & tonkatsu sauce. The soy garlic chicken was tasty but is not crispy the way I would characterize Korean fried chicken. It was soggy soft (but not bad)Chocolate tartufo wasn’t as dark as I thought it would be.If you match your expectations with this, then it’s a good place to eat with friends.

Quick seating on a Saturday around 6pm. A couple of tables occupied but got busy and full quick. Waitresses were quick to bring water and utensils. Ordered a couple of appetizers (bulgogi tacos and fries), the chicken jjim with cheese and spicy sauce and bibimbap. Tacos were really good and fries were nothing too special. The chicken jjim and bibimbap reminded us of the food in the Hmart food court. Everything was tasty but the tacos were the hit. It was a different kind of Korean and was a good experience.

Korean bar atmosphere dim and nice decor, nice bustling sound perfect for a convo but not too quiet. Food was reallly good. Came here in the past and it seems they changed up the whole place and the menu. Very comforting vibe and relaxing. Kind and considerate servers. Definitely would come again to try other dishes!

Got a ton of small bites to share for a friend's birthday, all the food was so good. I got a fried tofu with kimichi that I absolutely adored and what's some small bites without some hot sake. Next time I'm in San Francisco I'd definitely eat here again to try out the rest of their menu!

Cafe vibe. Don’t think it’s Korean owned but doesn’t matter because food was great. Great place for a simple meal with friends or family.
