Honestly the smorgasbord was a top 10 meal in the city. The replacements are pretty awful in comparison. It’s just an expensive brunch spot now.

Wonderful experience and great food. Though, it gets a bit confusing because we weren’t sure if they call you up for the pastries or not. There’s just pastries being served and left on the to go counter.

I feel like the quality is high but it's really not for me. Fish spreads and soft boiled eggs.

Food is impeccable, pastries are amazing, breakfast egg sandwich is perfect, cardamom kaffe (latte) is excellent, Scandinavian flavors are great. Everyone's friendly, spacious, buzzing but not overly busy, big windows, the ideal bakery-cafe.

The food and latte were great, but there was not enough seating in the inside for everyone to sit. The staff didn't mention it before handing us our plate of food. I found myself standing over someone for them To leave so i could sit and that shouldn't be the case.

As a Dane, strongly recommend Kantine!Their food is very close to what you’d get in Copenhagen, and the American twists excellent. Grateful for this place, makes me feel like home.Tebirkes are really excellent and reminds me of home (PS servers, most Danes eat these with cheese and with/without butter). Rye bread also good - both would make it in a bakery in Copenhagen! Coffee solid and great to see Mikkeler/other Danish brands represented! Loved seeingHad their grovbirkes breakfast sandwich, thought it sounded a bit too Americanized for me but blew my mind! The bowls are solid too.The only thing I’d change is the system (food is always slow) and smorrebrod. It is good but could be improved, eg a bit more on top of it and a bit more varied.

Cute place to sit outside on a sunny day. Great cappuccino but small (and expensive) trout bowl.
