Cute little Japanese curry joint across the street from the LGBT Center. Kinda limited menu, but they do a great job at what they offer. Curry is the highlight, but other dishes are strong. Corn Potage Soup: Not something I'd order normally, if it weren't for all the photos of it here. But I'm glad I succumbed to peer pressure, since this was so delightful. After eating at Curry Hyuga, I was raving about it to anyone who would listen for about a week! I went with my coworkers for a Wednesday lunch and we all got curry plates. I got the chicken katsu curry and it was delicious. I loved the caramelized onion-based curry, the depth of flavor is sooo good! The chicken katsu was cooked perfectly with the crispy panko outside with juicy chicken inside. Definitely come early for lunch because the place fills up!

This place has completely changed my perspective on curry--I never craved it until now. Opting for the Signature Katsu Curry with added omurice, shredded cheese, and ajitama egg (for an extra cost) was a delightful choice, although the ajitama egg was disappointingly hardboiled instead of softboiled as expected.
