One of the best Thai places I've been to in the U.S. and I've tried a lot in Los Angeles and NYC. The Namprik long rua crispy catfish was spicy and flavorful, with real pungent kaffir lime flavors. The Gaeng Hed mushroom curry was an unexpected hit. The YAOWARAJ noodle which is like a Cantonese chow-fun or Malaysian char kway teow was flavorful with XO seafood sauce and charred flavors. Michelin star restaurant inside Hilton Hotel. Maybe the "Michelin star" has bumped up my expectations, it's a bit overrated. Pretty good neo-Thai cuisine but definitely not the most outstanding SE Asian restaurant in the area. Also, if you're not parking with the hotel, parking and walking in the area, which is famously known as Tenderloin, is a bit rough...
