Go now for brunch before it blows up!!!Omg not only are their brunch items so aesthetically beautiful they are DELISH!!!We had the fluffy cakes, the Benedict Sando, and the 1398 Rancheros. The Benedict Sando was deconstructed- sandwich and then a dish of delicious poached eggs in mustardy hollandaise sauce. Wow!! The bulgogi on the rancheros was delicious and sooo flavorful, and spiced very mildly- not too spicy at all. The fluffy cakes stole the show. I even used a few of the dry cakes to sop up my Benedict sauce. Yum yum yum!!!!Also service was great, not slow at all, and super attentive. They ran out of the Thai iced tea and replaced it immediately with another beverage. Very thoughtful.

Kothai Republic is one of the best fusion restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. The dishes were inventive and tasty!

The brunch is amazing. Each dish is wildly delicious and delights with unexpected details and refinement (read: the food is so fancy looking). When I do brunch (which is often) I rarely get pancakes because I’m always thinking “I can do better at home”. Kothai’s fluffy cakes are inspired and I couldn’t do that at home with decades of practice. The rose toast is the must order, though, if you are into a seafood Benedict.

Came here for brunch and it wasn't full at all on Sunday at 10 am!Good:- Food was really pretty when it was plated- Prices are typical SF but not expensive either!- Big fan of how unique the eggs benedict here was - it's not just a egg on a biscuit, there's a bowl with an egg in it and the sauce and a separate sandwich- Good portion sizing- French toast was great and not too sweet too!Bad:- Was a bit hard to flag down the waiters so it took a while for food to get here tooOverall:This place was a cute find, good aesthetics and feels like it's really getting popular these days!

Must try restaurant. The variations on Thai and Korean food work so well and all 7 dishes we got were super tasty and fun. Highly recommend the Kim chee rice balls, Korean spicy noodles, and sweet and sour ribs. The service was super friendly and the vibe is perfect: neighborhood spot but a bit elevated. If I lived in this neighborhood I would visit it weekly for sure!

Great food and ambiance. The staff was really nice and accommodating as soon as we stepped in. I was able to try their kimchi rice balls, roasted delicata, slow shrooms and the jung hul kalbi. Everything was delicious but my two favorites were the slow shrooms and the jung hul kalbi. All the dishes were plated very nicely and I felt like I was eating fine dining! The food was fresh and perfectly seasoned. I'm planning to stop by often because the menu changes periodically so there's always something new to try. I hear they also have a killer brunch!
