Enormous portions and fresh peruvian food. The restaurant has been around for a long time and is family run. It has a rustic feel inside and custom old style front door / decor. Highly recommend supporting this family owned business!

First time tried here, remind me a Peruvian grandma's kitchen, ceviche was so fresh, delicious! The menu says they r not sure when they will be closed, but we will come visit here whenever we r in the city, hopefully this place will be open for a long time!

I went to San Francisco for a day and, about lunchtime, decided to eat some peruavian food. I grew up around peruvian food all my life, and we mostly cook it every day at home. However, we like to try and compare how different it could be just because when it comes to peruvian food, it can change according to where the people come from. The last time I was there, we tried la mar from the famous peruvian chef Gaston. It was good, except a bit pricy for small portions, but the guy knows his stuff. For this review, I decided to give it like a 3 star, mostly because the people were nice and respectful, and I do appreciate that. Regarding the food, sadly I was disappointed. I can eat a better menu if I go to Perú or if I cook it myself at home. The soup was a regular chicken noodle soup and did not reassembled peruavian soup. It was like an American chicken noodle soup, a few carrots, celery, noodles, and a small piece of chicken. I asked for a Lomo Saltado. The problem here was that most of the Lomo was onions. The Lomo dish contains potatoes that are supposed to be fried first in a pan, then you cut the beef and cook it in oil on high, and mix it with soy sauce, etcetc...then just add tomatoes. red and green onions, but you don't cook it throughly and then mix it with the fries. The fries were way too cooked, and it was mostly onions. I counted 6 pieces of meat and tasted if it was meat taken from another different dish. The rice was a bit burned. Overall, it's not a very good choice if you know about peruvian food.

The food is 10 out of 7 if it is good, the only bad thing is that when you enter it gives you a bad feeling because since everything is closed there is a very bad smell that makes you want to leave. They should only improve that aspect and maintain the decorations.

Delicious, authentic food made by Peruvian chefs. We tried the ceviche, lomo saltado, shrimp, platanos. Everything was great! Highly recommend this restaurant.

I've been there for lunch about 4 times now. Everything I've ordered has been really good. Comes with salad and bread. The price is very good. Not expensive at all!! Service has been A1 every time I've been there. It's a cute little place. I will definitely be back. A lot.

My wife and I love Peruvian cuisine. And this is a hidden gem on Bush St in the heart of San Francisco. Great Peruvian culture decor, very relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff. We ordered Pescado Saltado and Pescado a la chorriallana, both fish dishes made out of red snapper. Great taste and highly recommend!

The food was delicious! The anticuchos, grilled Peruvian beef hearts, was my personal favorite. We left full and happy and we will definitely be back. Thank you Tami and the rest of the staff!

Great food. Ceviche Mixto was really good. Service was a little slow even with no one else in the restaurant. I also think its time to get rid of covid mitigation measures. Plastic screens made it really hard for us to get into and out of seats.

I ve been going to this place since they were open in the mission in the 90s and then their spot on Van Ness and now bush. Love the owners. I always go back to their kitchen to say hello to them. I haven't gone back in a while. But I am stopping by again today.
