No frills, Large selections, and best experience to an authentic Mexican Pastery shop. Come in, grab a tray and tongs and select whatever bread you like before making a purchase.

Delightful delightful delightful! My friend and I shared 3 things for $3 total, and enjoyed every bite. Can't wait to go back.

La Reyna Bakery is one of the historical panaderias in the Mission. This is the place where you can get your traditional Mexican pan dulce.

I stopped by here at the end of a community student-led walking tour in the Mission and got to hear from Luis more the history of the building, changes in the Mission and community organizing around it, and his family's long history of owning and running this bakery, which was a nice touch and I appreciated getting to learn more about the space. I also love pan dulce, so I bought a concha for $1 (they take credit card as well as cash). They have a lot of nice, aesthetically-pleasing breads. The bread itself was super sweet, so good if you like a sweet tooth, and I like the crunchy cookie-like exterior.

good conchas but bakery looks derelict with no people and dim lighting. the pastries look fresh but we waited a while for someone to come out. such an odd purchasing experience.

You grab the tray and tongs on the counter and help yourself to the many tasty and beautiful items they offer. The conchas are delicious and everything is super affordable at $1 or $1.50. The staff is friendly and kind, happy to answer any questions you have.

Great when open but their hours are either inconsistent or wrong. No one answers the phone.

When I crave pan I Come to La Reyna. The quality of pan and the prices are very good. I love that they make conchas of diffrent colores.

Why is the woman working the cash register always so trashy and rude?! Gotta hand it to this place- they've been around 40+ years and have the best prices in town. I just don't understand why they don't care about creating a friendlier atmosphere. Guess you can get away with treating people poorly when you've been in business as long as they've been.

Best pan dulce in SF! The owner is so friendly and there's still a decent selection in the afternoons. Everything is good but the conchas are a must.

Pretty good old school panaderia in the mission with freshly baked, not too sweet conchas and cuernitos with other classics. The prices are extremely fair, and everything seemed to be very authentic. They didn’t have any coffee when I went. However the experience overall was great and the guy working there was super friendly! Would definitely go back.

La Reyna it has been the best panaderia since i put a foot for the first time in San Francisco in 1986. Always fresh, baked on the premises, family operated and owned. Many things have changed in SF and in the Mission district, but La Reyna still holding strong, keeping the flavor of Mexican bread and helping the community.
