You grab the tray and tongs on the counter and help yourself to the many tasty and beautiful items they offer. The conchas are delicious and everything is super affordable at $1 or $1.50. The staff is friendly and kind, happy to answer any questions you have.
Pretty good old school panaderia in the mission with freshly baked, not too sweet conchas and cuernitos with other classics. The prices are extremely fair, and everything seemed to be very authentic. They didn’t have any coffee when I went.However the experience overall was great and the guy working there was super friendly! Would definitely go back.

I stopped by here at the end of a community student-led walking tour in the Mission and got to hear from Luis more the history of the building, changes in the Mission and community organizing around it, and his family's long history of owning and running this bakery, which was a nice touch and I appreciated getting to learn more about the space.
